"1-800-Pool-Party" was inspired by the gig we had in October right here in Miami and it was such a cool vibe and I was so honored to play with some really amazing DJ's. Such a fun time... Making mixes like this are a huge reason why after over 40 years I still do this DJ thing. I mean there are some songs in this set that are so very near and dear to my heart and the vibe I tried to create is totally positive and uplifting. One of my favorite young inspirational singers, Aaron K. Gray leads us off with his brand new gem: "Celebrate Your Life." Then the super talented, Angel-A and Russoul remind us to always live our best lives with their banger: "Your Best Life." And last but certainly not least, if you can get to the last song in this mix: "Live Your Life for Today" by Elements Of Life. Maaaaan let me tell you, I shed  tears of joy while playing this now classic. This set was totally inspired by my seeing and meeting the great Raul Midon (Live) in concert in Miami a few weeks ago. Hearing him play "Sunshine" up close and personal has totally given me an even greater appreciation for his music and that song in particular. Sunshine

Growing up as a child in MD DC and VA in the  Early 80/90"s. I Start D Jing at house parties and throwing private parties to make money. 

I always love music. I got my first Pioneer receiver and technique turntables when I was in high school for Xmas from my mother.

I would always ask my best friend Gerald Frisby RIP to use his mixer when I had Djing Gig because I couldn't afford one.

I first fell in love with disco music at my junior high school prom at a night club in Baltimore called Odell's. I would buy all the latest and hottest single albums to play for my sets. That when I became a house head for LIFEEEEE and I was hooked on it.

I would go to the hottest night club's in the city back in those days.

If you take a look through my playlist you will see that I am into all genres of music. Am always looking for new music to listen and add to my library collection. Please feel free to follow or like me.

It was 1980 in Detroit Michigan where I first fell in Love with this Music. I was 13 years old and the Music of Choice for Me and my Friends was Progressive Dance Music. We didn't know it at the time but We were actually creating a Musical Lifestyle of sorts that would follow many of us the rest of our lives.

Sure there would be periods when no music was bought and no new mixes were produced, but time would go by and before you knew it This Music Thing would just Grab hold to Me again...

In 2012 My Musical Journey started again! This dance music would prompt me to start mixing on the web via my YouTube Channel with over 45K followers, and Soundcloud with over 5K and counting... This music would even take me around the U.S and as far away as Beijing China to DJ (Twice). I'm  really excited now more than ever because I am are currently living in Miami and DJing at my residency at N'Namdi Contemporary Gallery.
