Established in Berlin in 1999, the label quickly captured attention not just within the capital city borders but worldwide. With a huge impact on the scene, it grew to one of the most important international labels with huge loyal fan base, label parties and own radio show.
In 2010, two of the most prestigious labels in dance music — Paul van Dyk’s legendary VANDIT imprint and Dutch record company Armada Music — announced a new joint venture. With a burgeoning release schedule for 2010 and 2011 already in place, the Berlin‐based VANDIT team will remain responsible for the label’s A&R and artist development as both entities prepare to take the imprint into the next decade.
