What an amazing evening this was!  The stars were out, the glowing rocks, beautiful projection animation backdrop, and a dance floor full of the most amazing open hearted smiling super humans!!!  This is a high energy soulful house set that will get you shaking your money maker.

Live At Opulent Temple, Wednesday night Burning Man 2016:  It was Opulent Temple's 14th annual Wednesday night Sacred Dance 'white party', thrown very specifically to be a conscious party and raise the frequency and intention of a night of music and dancing to 'wake up', and take the wakefulness out of the desert into the rest of life.  We did a nice opening ceremony to that effect I left off the release of this recording but if you were you there you know about our Om'ing and such.  : )

Playa sets at OT for me are all about covering a range of energy, emotion and sounds so it's never about one genre.  There's meant to be dirty grooves, smooth and playful sounds, fist pumping rhythms and heady and feel good and so on.  Hope it takes you back to the desert.  I seriously had tears in my eyes during the last song I was so happy and filled with emotion and appreciation.

The sun had just peaked with it's red glow over the playa and everyone was ready to raise the day. It was Burning Man, Friday morning at Bubbles & Bass. I had an epic time playing some of my favorite new tunes as so many of my friends rolled up on their art cars, dusty bikes and playa-fied boots to dance with me. Thank you for sharing this special morning with me, thank you to the Bubbles & Bass crew for putting on one hell of a dusty day party and thank you to David Hohme for inviting me to play! Travisty started spinning 27 years ago at raves in New York City and the New England area. Over that time, he has held multiple residencies playing at intimate lounges, top venues nationwide, and major festivals along the East Coast. 



Travisty’s sound is influenced by labels such as Dirty Bird, This Ain’t Bristol, Night Bass, Black Book Records, and Box of Cats. His unique ability to mix multiple genres (breaks, house, bass, funk) keeps his high energy sound fresh and adaptable to any crowd, ensuring an always packed dance floor. 



Burning Man has played an integral part of Travisty’s career. As the founder of the sound camp Trifucta, his music has graced the stages of Funkytown, Pink Mammoth, and Slut Garden, in addition to his annual legendary sunrise sets at Bubbles & Bass.
