Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was surrounded by the timeless sounds of my parents' vinyl collection, and I found great joy in exploring the stories hidden within each record.
Even in primary school, I was the kid who would bring music to life at events, playing tracks and curating the vibe.
My early love for music naturally led me to the decks, where I discovered my passion for DJing and event creation.

After years of refining my craft in the underground scene, I’ve found a sound that truly resonates with who I am.
My performances are an expression of the love and energy I pour into every set, and I’m grateful that this has touched the hearts of so many listeners, both near and far.
Collecting tracks from all around the world, then sharing them with the crowd through hypnotic beats, rolling basslines, and melodies that reach deep into the spirit.
My extensive musical journey has allowed me to bridge genres like deep and progressive house, minimal, techno and there is also big space in my heart for ecstatic and tribal tunes.
My goal is to design DJ sets that not only keep the dancefloor energized but also accompany listeners through their day, no matter where or how it's enjoyed.

Hearing tribal drums before he could walk, pogoing to punk and ska and collecting electro before becoming a teen....SubLife soon found himself dragging amps and speakers across the Cornish wastelands and abandoned buildings to support the UK squat party scene. Eventually  escaping the impoverished South West to explore Latin America, Europe, North Africa and Asia to finally set down roots in the Sunny Coast where the legendary DOOF crew could be found. The house and tekno styles that SubLife creates takes the listener on a journey that starts in your head and then swiftly moves your feet. Playing sets for Wizards of Kingston, The Wonky Queenslander and the Forest Feels stage at Jungle Love he is no stranger to festivals or the underground.

Shanthi Beats is a Australian DJ and producer based in Germany, blending driving peak time TECHNO with a melodic, story driven flow. Known for his versatility behind the decks, Shanthi also dives into HOUSE, PSYTRANCE, and… if you’re lucky…a touch of DUB. Every set is crafted to tell a deeper story, merging emotion and energy for those who truly listen.
