Celebrating the huge success of the last banana dance at @sameheads , we’ve decided to treat you with the whole 9 hour recording of the fiesta!
Prepare yourself to enjoy hours and hours of SICK MUSIC 🎶 
We have no time stamps, but just so you are not completely confused, it’s us for the first 2,5 hours, then @giununez for two, then @pinelmartha for another two hours and we played the last late night/early morning tunes 😶‍🌫️

Aradea Barandana, widely known as Dea, began his DJ career in high school, spinning records as background music for a breakdance crew. What started as a casual exploration of rhythm soon blossomed into a passion for building community through music. Dea launched his own club night in Jakarta, where his eclectic taste began to take shape.
While studying in London, Dea delved deep into the world of underground and obscure cosmic sounds, honing a style that defies strict categorization. His sets are a rich tapestry of exotic psychedelia, infused with electronic grooves that transcend traditional genre boundaries.
Dea has released numerous records under his own name and as part of projects like Precious Bloom and Zatua. His collaborations span diverse fields, from co-creating a short film soundtrack with DJ Harvey to contributing to albums by A Mountain of One and Ricardo Villalobos. He also made waves with an EP released on Peggy Gou’s Gudu Records.
Looking ahead, Dea is set to release his highly anticipated solo album on Rush Hour Records in summer 2025, a testament to his ever- evolving artistry and deep connection to the global music scene.

Greetings! Last week the Australian duo based in Berlin @sanctuary3 contributed a positively stunning recording for the 50th episode of Pacific Spirit. It's been a bleak few weeks here in Vancouver but the sun is slowly breaking through the clouds and this mix is the perfect soundtrack for it. Give it a listen. We think you'll like it!

Pacific Spirit No.50 | Sanctuary

Nu Guinea came together over a love of studio jam sessions. The Berlin based Italians fuse live instrumentals and synthesisers that journey to far corners fo the musical world, from weird disco to exotica, world grooves via ethno rhythms. Their most adventurous work has come in the form of albums on their own NG Records as well as Early Sounds Recordings, one of which found them rewire original Tony Allen drum recordings with their own jazz-funk vibes.

In the mix for us this week they stir up a steamy summer session of boogie bass, township funk and squelchy synth goodness. It’s 90 minutes of storytelling music that speaks of a lifetime of digging deep into local sounds and scenes and stitching them all together with the sort of underlying grooves that transcend boundaries and bring people together under the sun.

Some acts need little more than a good name and a stack of great works to attach to it in order to gain the accolades they deserve. Such is the case with Good Block, this mischievous London unit whose portfolio of musical shenanigans increases in quantity as much as it grows in quality, amounting to a solid body of work of which this episode of Gop Cast is another stellar chapter. One that, in their own words is "a bit deeper for us (ambient/ slo-mo/chug) but we really enjoyed doing this one. It features a few new productions from us and some recent finds old and contemporary."
