West America are a two piece band from Porridge Radio are a band from West America is a solo project with a backing band but now Porridge Radio is female fronted punk rock but not pretentious like West America is just some people having fun and feeling Porridge Radio is West America.

Porridge Radio became best friends with West America through soundcloud and they have waded through Porridge Radio in order to collaborate on an EP that West America made half of and Porridge Radio also made half of West America play guitar music a bit like Porridge Radio who reworked 4 of the 'i'm not sure any more' demo LP songs with The Cosmic Sadness in order to create this collab EP with West America who we all love very much because the internet makes friends of Porridge Radio and West America who both made the artwork but Porridge Radio says that it's only good because of West America.

Gemini Rising is the new band project of Fiora Cutler, Lester Mendez and Marco Niemerski. The trio met in LA and felt instant chemistry, bonding over their love for 80s synth pop. Over a 12 month period split between Berlin and Los Angeles they created a full album that can be best described as retro-futuristic pop music. The emotive synth pop songwriting combined with an updated production vision on 80's new wave reminds you of something familiar while introducing you to something infectious and fresh at the same time. 

Releasing their first debut EP on June 9th, Gemini Rising will play School Night on June 19th, with their album to follow later in the year.

Founded in 2018 by dj and producer Deni-Shain – the man behind acclaimed compilations Space Echo and Pop Makossa -, Atangana Records is the logical follow-up to more than 20 years of travel, constantly on the look out for new artists and music around the world. As a « tropicalist globetrotter », in this new project Deni-Shain, in partnership with Thomas Vicente, co-owner of the french restaurant Le Verre Volé aims to dig, reproduce & transmit cross-cultural music, usually unreachable and/or less known by the public.
The goal is simple : to share the love of music and to rediscover the pleasure of voicings, percussions and sadly forgotten harmonies, whether you find yourself in a jam packed club or the intimacy of your home.
Atangana’s first releases will be looking at the Caribbean’s Islands, especially into Haiti with the reissue (on may 4th) – highly expected by various diggers – of the acclaimed single « Divizion » by singer Fedia Laguerre. Originally released in 1981, this first 12" will come with a Voilaaa remix and an instrumental cut exclusively based on the additional work by the french afro collective.

It’s therapy, if therapy was allowed to turn you on and make you shake what you got. At its core, Fran’s music is about sharing a truth -–telling it, confessing it, yelling it—in the service of human connection. Or, as Jacobson puts it, “I feel that I am a songwriter for the same reason I wanted to be an actor. I want to tell the truth. I want to challenge myself to get closer and closer to the core of an experience, an emotion- I want to say it, sing it, in a way that says exactly what it is. I cry when I write songs because I am constantly making discoveries, about myself, about the world, about the best way to convey and connect and get closer.”
