To celebrate 20 years of building Labyrinths, we have decided to release one set from each of the last ten years. I've chosen ten timeless moments that both document the history of the event and provide a historical snapshot of underground electronic music over the past ten years.

We have chosen a broad range--from closing techno sets, to morning ambient sets, to experimental sets to close the night. Each set represents a different side of the event. Taken together, they present a portrait of a decade of music.

テクノのクロージングセットから、朝のアンビエントセット、そして夜を締めくくるエクスペリメンタルセットまで幅広いセレクトですが、どのセットもThe Labyrinthの欠かせない側面を表しており、ここ10年におけるエレクトロニック ミュージックの全容とも言えるでしょう。

We're elated to introduce our very special guest for the SPANDAU20 mixtape: @Efdemin 📼. A true legend in the electronic music scene, Efdemin embarked on his musical journey with his debut release in 2004, followed by his first album in 2006. Based in Berlin, he's not only a resident at the iconic Berghain club but also the curator of his vinyl-only label, naïf. His music is an embodiment of serenity and sophistication, characterized by an elegant darkness, subtle beauty, and a sense of unwavering composure. Efdemin's impressive discography spans LPs and 12-inch records on renowned labels like Dial, Curle, and Ostgut Ton. His versatility extends to remixes, including a memorable one for Depeche Mode, as well as his collaborative project Pigon with RNDM, and his exploration of drone and ambient soundscapes under his original name, Phillip Sollmann. 🎧

Efdemin's SPANDAU20 mixtape offers an immersive auditory journey, commencing with a potent voice sample from the celebrated artist Tracey Emin. The mixtape's sonic landscape is characterized by atmospheric elements, including the gentle sounds of birds, creating a serene and captivating ambiance. As the mixtape unfolds, it seamlessly transitions from ambient to deep, rhythmic beats. Its character is defined by sultry, groovy rhythms, complemented by the warmth of synthesizers that envelop the listener like a sonic embrace.
