This project is the embodiment of depression, self doubt, negative thinking, and the absence of loving ones self. It's a detailed journey into a once toxic mindset. I am very very proud of what i have created, but I am not proud of the emotions that I've had to convey. I don't expect everyone to connect with it. This project is designed to be listened to alone with your own thoughts. At least that's the way I see it. It took me a very long time to build up the confidence to release these songs. I always thought it would alter everyone's view of me. And that might be the case, but I don't care anymore. This was my reality. I have been given the gift of music. It's only right for me to speak my truth and be a voice for those who may not have one. I always remember that there is someone out there who is in need of what you have to offer. Whatever it may be. I hope this project really resonates with someone. Even if it's just one person, it will make this all worth it to me. I truly appreciate anyone and everyone who has been listening. I rarely, if ever, talk about my experiences with depression in my real life. It's intimidating releasing such a vulnerable project for the world to hear. I almost wasn't going to release this project but something told me that I needed to. Not for me, but for the countless people that can truly benefit from this. Depression is such a taboo subject and is not the topic of conversation in most cases. I'm hoping this project may help some people understand the emotions of someone that is depressed. I'm also hoping it will resonate with people who have had the same or similar feelings. We are not alone. ❤️ Releasing this project is a way for me to let go. Please share this with someone, anyone you know who you think could benefit from this.
