We brengen je terug waar het allemaal begon met ukgarage en 2step. De huidige scene is meer ukbass, ukhouse, maar het heeft één ding gemeen. Dat is de liefde voor bass.

New Atlantic are legendary pioneers of the classic rave sound, born out of the warehouse party scene of early 90's North West England.

Their childhood years in Southport were shaped by the original Chicago garage and Detroit techno sounds through the mid-80s, but came their sound came to fruition as teenagers in the original Summer Of Love. An early claim to fame was having the only ever rave track to be broadcast throughout Europe from the iconic East Berlin TV/Radio tower in 1989, just weeks before the Berlin Wall came down. 

New Atlantic were the original bedroom producers, teenagers working with rudimentary samplers and synths to shape both the distinctive uplifting piano rave sounds and the prototype jungle d&b of the early and mid-90s. They supported The Prodigy, Dream Frequency, Love Decade and K-Klass, whilst also remaining favourites with the likes of TOP BUZZ with their darker material such as YES TO SATAN - the first track in Top Buzz's legendary DJ set at NYE FANTAZIA 1991/1992. 

New Atlantic became one of the first acts to take rave music into the mainstream charts with the legendary "I KNOW (I CAN COUNT ON YOU)" topping the dance charts in the UK and the USA - a legacy that lives on today with Chase & Status sampling the iconic New Atlantic vocal hook in their 2013 top 10 hit "COUNT ON ME".
