Vienna-born, Berlin-based artist DLV, known for tracks like "Rave Instructor" and "Der Teufel'', brings his uncompromising and invigorating sound to Voxnox. For the 47th edition of Berlin's infamous Hard Techno outlet, he presents his selection of pure dancefloor-oriented weapons. A record that reflects his musical journey of the last few years - no frills, no B-sides, no compromises.

1) Rufmord
Percussive and driving, creating a mood that makes you think of a marching legion on its way to the gates of hell. A track made for moving crowds in search of excitement and a hard-hitting peak time belter. Perfect for getting the crowd going, regardless of what time it might be.

2) Dolor
Driven by a pounding kick and accompanied by an energetic and striking synth line the unstoppable whipping drum rhythms as well as the dramatic atmosphere take this track to its climax. A real-time bomb that escalates every warehouse gathering in the best DLV manner.

3) Anarchic Revenge
The title says it all. Anarchic Revenge is an unprecedented and electric banger that shreds its way into the ears and minds of the crowd. Embedded in distorted and refined industrial vibes, it develops into an uncompromising and raw techno groove.

4) Deimos
Galloping drum patterns mixed with a raw and stripped-down aesthetic are set in a sinister and commanding contrast. Combined with an honest and catchy bassline, a spherical soundscape, and mechanical drums and percussion, this track marks the end of this journey and perfectly sums up the release.

Amelie Lens' trailblazing brand EXHALE presents the label's fourth compilation, introducing a new wave of stand-out techno producers to the label. The EXHALE label and party series have skyrocketed over recent years, hosting only the best in fresh new talent and pioneering producers. 

Kickstarting the compilation is resident AIROD with the raucous track 'Nemesis': straight drum arrangements and frantic claps are accompanied by spiking synths that haunt this track, with a dark and booming breakdown injecting even more ferocity midway. Following is Joey Risdon with 'LSD Reaction', a fast-paced, gritty techno stomper with industrial elements, while Vizionn takes us on a futuristic journey with robotic vocals and high-energy keys in 'Future Energy'. Tigerhead hits us with the celestial and booming 'Looking Glass', keeping the pace up with a rolling cut, while The Blackmailer follows with 'The Queen Has Arrived' - giving a nod to rap royalty with this twisted techno hit featuring a sinister, electrifying riff. 

Exhale resident Farrago teams up with Part Time Killer for 'The Keymaster‘, a strong, driving track with electric atmospherics and a slick, hypnotizing sample. Rudosa & Blicz's synergy as producers is felt with beautiful composition 'Split Your Love', a change of pace with a sharp, euphoric melody. ACOR comes next with 'Eat Sleep Rave Repeat', the perfect peak-time warehouse energy booster, with the title commanding listeners throughout. Flour takes charge with 'Invasion', easing into proceedings with an ethereal bleating choir, before racing synths take over and turn this into a vigorous weapon. Caravel drives on with 'Echoes Of You', keeping up the momentum with a frantic kick & hi-hat combo laced with yearning cries throughout. 

On the flip is DLV with 'Der Pakt', a heaving cut armed with an insidious synth-line made for epic peak-time moments on the dance floor. Nineted scales back with 'Euphoric Expression', initially presenting arcade-like melodies before throwing in twinkling keys and a ferocious kick drum. Next, Carla Schmitt dives back in with her contribution 'Red Ambition', firing fiendish and growling elements over the booming bass and rhythmic kick to create a mischievous energy. Chemtrailz is up next with 'The Future Is Matriarchy', a trancey expedition with enticing vocals and high-pitched strikes. Rounding off is WarinD with 'Techno Memories', a heaving yet grooving track with a deep, dark techno synth that wavers throughout.

Vienna’s DLV is fast becoming one of Hard Techno’s most exciting prospects, owing to releases on some of Techno’s most respected stables, including EXHALE, OUTWORLD and VOXNOX, among others. Continuing an impressive run of form - DLV’s latest work is a blistering two-track EP titled “Sinnerman”, set for self-release on 24th November. Once again highlighting DLV’s innate propensity for vigorous Hardgroove and thumping Hard Techno slammers, his “Sinnerman” EP strives to make a bold statement of intent as DLV looks to further solidify himself as one of the genre’s next wave of pioneers.

Kicking things off with the title cut, “Sinnerman” brings about an expected onslaught of hammering drum work, racy industrial percussion, and pulsating musicality. Riding a wave of ominous pads, rave synths, rippling arps and a catchy vocal hook, “Sinnerman” confidently presents itself as a showstopping peak-time monster.

“Angel Of Death” completes the EP with more signature DLV flavours, carving out a weighty tirade of flippant acid-tinged grooves and mind-bending melodics from the outset. An undeniably hair-raising affair, running a gauntlet of intensity through breakneck drops and sharpened atmospheric troughs, the aptly named “Angel Of Death” is the harbinger of all things dark and pleasantly demonic that envelop the vampiric aesthetic of contemporary Hard Techno.

DLV is the driving force behind Acid Techno Techno Club and now self-releases three of his powerful dance floor weapons.  

Acid Techno Techno Club is an organization run by DLV that meets to discuss, show, and promote acid techno in a local community setting and it has given the Austrian artist and party promoter a cult following both locally and internationally. His hard hitting, no frills and direct sound is pure fire on the dance floor and can be heard on his remixes for KAS:ST and Hadone, in addition to his pounding sets at his parties. 

'Rave instructor' has lasers fired out of a gun shooting across a flat footed kick drum that prowls you forwards. Vocal stabs add fuel to the fire and eventually a frazzled synth breaks free to get hands in the air. The excellent ‘Space Machine' is another futurist techno banger, with twisted acid lines weaving in and out of the hammering drums while bright synth patterns light up the skies. Last but not least, 'Transmission' brings darker energies with its stomping kicks, industrial textures and old school breakbeat flourishes all making for a hugely physical and immediate impact.  

DLV ‘Rave Instructor’ is out on 24th July 2020.
