Chart-topping LA duo Haddadi Von Engst return with another hellfire release that includes another A-lister on the remix. ‘Til The End’ is the most epic and memorable melodic techno EP from HVE to date. For this masterpiece, the classically trained production-wizards set a melancholic atmosphere with gorgeous arp work and dramatic loose keys. Dreamy vocals from San Francisco group Phonic Youth perfectly match the mood. The track gains momentum through uplifting melodies and drops that contrast the wistful lyrics to provide a strong sense of perseverance “-‘til the end”.

For the remix, iconic dance music duo Super Flu do the impossible and rework this production into something equally special. Their more playful, twisted, drum-driven version, which sits effortlessly between afro house, latin rhythm, and melodic techno, is ready to tickle and tease the dancefloor into evolving madness. It is so brilliantly distinct yet complementary to HVE's original mix that the two tracks could be used within the same set and each will provide a unique vibe to the room.

Zuccasam, a new name on the scene, arrives on Nightcolours with the High Eyes EP.

The title track is a shimmering and infectious slab of progressive house built around a pulsing bassline and cleverly constructed vocal samples that build effortlessly towards the synth-tastic pay off!

Next up is Tokay an altogether more heads down affair. Stripped down to rattling percussion and gritty FX this is dark room perfection.

Zuccasam - High Eyes

Israeli/Colombian DJ, producer and founder of Underground Bloom Records Label, Golan Zocher's career started at the very young age of 17 spinning vinyl in a city where the electronic music scene was just a shadow of Salsa and tropical rhythms.

Fast forward to the present, and it’s a joy to see Golan collaborating with Choopie on this stellar EP. Golan frames it like this: “Make Me Famous EP is a special one because it represents two tracks
of different realms, where one is of light and comfort, security and sense of be- longing while the other represents a world of confusion, distress and hypnotic darkness. Both tracks for the same night but at different hours”.

Make Me Famous, the title track is the first half of this equation, with warm pads and lush chords, while Azaia brings a darker element to proceedings. We are also treated to a remix by Tel Aviv born and Berlin based Nela, who shares a gorgeous take on Make Me Famous which brings the piano melodies right to the fore.

"Released at the end of 2018, the first in Erdi Irmak's "Hidden Arcadia" showcased a quartet of sparkling original productions. As Proton Music returns to the series, "Hidden Arcadia, Vol. 2" combines a trio of new tracks with stunning remixes from German and Greek artists.

An artist with a strong tie to Proton Music saw July 2014's "You in Me" EP lighting a path for "Night" a year later, before "Hidden Arcadia" shot Erdi Irmak to global notoriety in 2018. Now continuing the successful series, "Falling down" immediately delights as a stripped-back beat and rich bass paves the way for a glissando lead line to wend its way across the mid-range. [...]

A talented multi-instrumentalist and music producer of global renown, Rauschhaus has found his music allied to some of the finest underground dance imprints that include Steyoyoke, Einmusika and Traum. October 2018's "Opal" saw a sparkling original debut on Proton Music as the German artist follows up on a rerub of Michael A with another remix for the label.
Holding its audio cues from "Vol. 1", the Rauschhaus remix takes "Owl" on a new flight of fantasy that explores original components while extending them with a plethora of additional production material. A new sustained analogue bassline gradually opens up in the second half, adding to the cadenced motif already in place and a rich arpeggio supplies a new hypnotic narrative. The result is an innovative remix with the beating heart of Erdi Irmak's "Owl".

Born in the US house music capital, Savvas' move from Chicago to Greece has seen him carve out an impressive career as DJ and producer. His music signed to such leading imprints as Anjunadeep, Nie Wider Schlafen and Motek Music, a trio of appearances on Particles including the beautiful "Mindfulness" on the "Winter 2019" compilation, now sees him join the Proton Music ranks. .
