Pray For Peace - An Improvisation (Piano Day 2022)

Each year, Piano Day is celebrated worldwide. It's the 88th day of the year, which are the amount of keys on a piano keyboard. In 2022, I want to dedicate my track to the unfortunate people of Ukraine. I've titled my piece "Empathy", as I feel the world collectively, needs to feel the pain these innocent bystanders are suffering at the moment. I hope globally, everyone can draw attention to the plight of the Ukrainians, using any means possible. In my case it's my art.

To give buoyancy of the murmurs in the abyss within us:

A meditative piece, and an experiment between 3 different melodic cells where the second and third cell has an additive note.  Each cell repeats once the melody reaches the note E until the combination of the notes are played full circle.   The pulses in between notes are measured carefully and are equally considered in the cycle.

It was originally conceived as a solo piano piece, but I've also made this version which explores some additional features of the Noire piano library, though I've only scratched the surface there. It is so very wonderful to have discovered a beautiful world of music here on soundcloud. So many talented composers, musicians and artists. This is awesome and overwhelming at the same time... 
                  
I have always considered myself to be mainly a composer and then a pianist. I have been writing my own works since the age of 16. The first instrument that I ever played was a violin at age 6, then I began Classical piano training at age 7. My mother played violin, piano, organ and sang in the choir for the church we attended in my childhood... I hope that you will enjoy my music, it is an art that I love to work at every day....(to be continued)
