On our way to the next edition of OZORA, Indian producer StarLab is joining us to talk about some of the key milestones in his musical journey so far, the scene in India and all that is cooking in his audio laboratory. Topped with a special mix of course.

StarLab is a project initialised by Bharat from New Delhi, India.Training in Indian Classical Music laid the musical foundations for Bharatat a very early age, earning a Music Diploma at the age of 10. Over theyears, as a self taught Bass & Guitar player he gathered a wealth ofexperience touring andrecording with his band for over a decade until heencountered the hypnotic sound of Psychedelic Trance Music at a beachparty in Goa, India. This strongly affected his musical persona after whichhe began to teach himself synthesis & music production andprojectStarLab was born.In 2011 he went toSan FranciscoUSA to study music and quickly became apopular DJ in the West Coast scene, gaining a lot of experienceplayingmany local parties &festivalsand learningmusicproduction. On returningto India in 2013 he joined ranks with India’s premier record label DigitalOm Productions as Live Act and since then he has gone on to makecountless releases with the most well known record labels and perform intop festivals and venues all around the world in USA, Mexico, Brazil,Australia, Japan,Thailand, Nepal and all across Europe. These includeMain Stage performances at iconic festivals such as Universo Paralello-Brazil, Antaris Project-Germany, Shankra Festival-Switzerland, ExitFestival-Serbia, Electric Daisy Carnival–India, Sunburn Festival–Goa,Universal Religion–Nepal, Experience–Thailand, How Weird Street Fair–San Francisco.StarLab hascollaboratedwith some of the world’s top artistsand releasedmusic onrenownedlabels such as Digital Om, Iboga, IONO, Techsafari,TesseracTstudio, Sacred Technology, Dacru, Shamanic Tales,Future Musicand many more. DNA was formed in 1999 and consists of Eitan Tanami (aka. Injection) and Zeev Kardonski, and for 11 years fans has enjoyed the roller-coaster ride of supersonic melodic themes and killer bass lines presented by this proficient Israeli duo.  Eitan and Zeev both have a broad musical background and they are recognized as exceptional and innovative producers of electronic music. The typical DNA sound is based upon a top notch sound production and influences from a variety of other musical genres.

Over a relatively short period of time, DNA have released several productions that are all acknowledged as major hits in the Psytrance scene. Each of them differentiates from the other in style and approach, which might be the reason why DNA are massively supported by top international trance labels and DJ’s. The guys have blasted the global dance floors for years and they are currently travelling the world with their Infinity Tour.

DNA presents time and time again powerful and unique live acts, their goal is to lift the dance floors to new heights and they never fail to deliver.  DNA have released 5 studio albums, and 7 EP's and their latest album "Infinity" was ranked number 1 on Psyshop and entered Beatports top 100 chart as well. The guys are already working on their sixth studio album, which will be released on Eitans own label - DNA Records in 2013.
