Azura (formerly known as Waves) is a 24 year old DJ & producer based in Vienna, Austria.
She was first introduced into drum & bass in 2015 and has fallen in love with it ever since. For her, drum & bass is more than a music genre. It‘s the vibes, the art, the music, the people, the scene and where she belongs to with her whole heart.
Azura draws her influences from labels such as 1985 Music, Critical Music, Overview, The North Quarter and Deadbeats.
Her sound ranges from deep & rolling drum and bass to soulful melancholic vibes, as well as futuristic breaks and deep dubstep. 
Azura is the EQ50 x 1985 Music mentee of 2023 and being chosen by her favourite label and being able to work alongside her biggest inspiration has been an absolute dream coming true. 
She has been working hard on her own productions in the background, so keep an eye out for her in the future.

Clever touches to his beats and musical elements that refuse to stay still cocoon the listener as each track gradually evolves into a work of pure art.
