'‘Dont Worry Psy Happy’ is the 2nd release and namesake single from Sebra Cruz’s album. While the first single ‘Margaret’ was defined by classic Italian cinematic samples, this single doesn’t have any but a driving live bass guitar and four analog monophonic oscillators alternating open gates and cascade synth sequences. ‘Don't Worry Psy Happy’ is a tribute to psychedelic disco without sticking to classic formulas.

Electronical Reeds continues to assert itself at the top of the pile with another fine release, this time from label regard Felix Cage. His great original comes backed with a remix from Madmotormiquel and in all this package is another fantastic musical statement from both label and artist.
Secret Lover is a moody bit of house with wobbly bass, breathy, sexual female vocal whispers and cool melodies. There is lots of feeling and musicality in the track that stands it out from the crowd and those rubbery drums are sure to get people dancing as well as feeling something special when dropped at the right moment.
Born and raised in west Berlin, Madmotormiquel is one of the founders of URSL Records topping charts on Beatport with cuts on his own imprint but also on labels like Katermukke. His track is a darker, grittier affair with more shady and serrated synths. The energy here has changed from romantic to more late night and mischievous. As such, the track rounds out yet another fine EP for Electronical Reeds.

Magic Panda creates ethereal and energetic electronic compositions, peppered with broken percussion and wistful melodies which swirl around a warm techno pulse and Tokyo is the perfect embodiment of this aesthetic.

Tokyo is a bold statement of intent showcasing the future direction Magic Panda is heading in. It is a beautiful, shimmering and propulsive merging of Border Community inspired techno and understated Lo-Fi-but-not-lazy shoegaze energy.

It is the first single from his forthcoming full length Tigerbeat6 Album "Temple of a thousand lights" and includes a stellar collection of remixes from Max Cooper, Kid606, Groj, Lanny May, Defled, and Mary Yalex.

2011-12 has seen Magic Panda developing his studio sound and live set up and he has enjoyed high profile concerts in the UK and across Europe, playing alongside the likes of Luke Abbott, Ricardo Tobar, The Portico Quartet, Mount Kimbie and DMX Krew.

First up on remix duties is none other than Max Cooper (Traum / Herzblut.) Max puts to work his unique blend of glitch-fused techno on 'Distant Places' , taking listeners on a melancholic journey through light and dark spaces. Kid606 steps things up with a 110 bpm high energy rework of Tokyo that strips the original of it's four on the floor pulse in lieu of a more laid-back 808 hip-hop groove.

Canadian artist Groj (Traum, Manual Music, Proton Music, and Zaubernuss) slows things down with his psychedelia-tinged interpretation of Tokyo, sparse percussion and swirly analog synths abound in this haunting sonic adventure.

Berlin-based Lanny May (Manual, Cinematique, Maripoza, Back Home) picks up the tempo with his pulsating remix. He deconstructs Tokyo in a sea of reverb and saturates it with his recognizable fusion of asymmetric rhythms and synths.

The EP is wrapped up nicely with two remix's of "A perfect circle"; A Haunting rework by Mallorcan producer Defled and a beautiful minimalist reconstruction by Mary Yalex.

DOC RECORDS is an independent record label founded in 2013 and operated by Brazilian architect and music producer Gui Boratto. The name is a reference to "Denominazione Di Origine Controllata" or D.O.C., used for certifying all different types of food which follow a set of regulations and come from specific geographical areas. In this case, it's about music that relates to Gui's own sound-like principles: to Gui, more important than style, it is the music itself that and its beauty and harmony that count the most. Thus, the intent to launch quality timeless music, avant-garde, rhetorical and with a well defined and efficient language and expression, regardless of its shell. 

After all, there's only good or bad taste.
