The heavy hitters roll on this month as we touch upon our theme of “Strange Romance” and we get to a Paul Thomas Anderson movie that seemed to come quietly at it’s time and now we revisit Reynolds Woodcock (lol), dressmaker for House Woodcock (lol) who has fallen in love with a pretty waitress, Alma, who practically crashes into his life in a way he can’t let go. It’s a story of two people who are drawn to each other until they finally discover the elements that make them inseparable. We’re talking about “Phantom Thread” from 2017 and our boy DDL is in it so you know it humps. It’s a strange love indeed.
