In TOO FAR, MIRAGE one finds music and lyrics wavering on the line between elucidation and ambiguity. Dreamy pianos that sound as if they’re being played behind a waterfall, digital bongos, shiny broken drums, and another collaboration with Cesar B’s trombone are part of this musical collage. The pile of cahiers that the stories had been written in was gone. Socko is a beacon of hope in a dark warehouse. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks will help you find your way home. Mujia & Tajo, Majnoon and Chomba are taking the bond out of the acid.
