About this journey:
The invitation to create a contribution to the lovely Cosmocast for me was clearly connected with the heartfelt desire to express my joy about the approaching spring awakening here in the middle latitudes with an uplifting set full of danceable lightness. Since my emotional mood has changed abruptly due to the current war in Ukraine and the associated geopolitical upheavals, I decided to rather share this peaceful mix consisting of gentle electronic healing vibes with the world. Let us never forget that we are one human family. Even if we often don't see it or don't want to realize it, we are meant to be connected in peace. Excited & honored to host a very special & talented artist, welcoming Sangeet to the SOLmundo archive. 

I first got to know Sangeet back in 2017 when I first started discovering the beautiful music within the 100bpm (+/- 10) range. Playing his tracks on my very first SOLmundo episodes released on Lump Records in the Australian bush.

Sangeet is no stranger to the scene, and his productions are widely known amongst established and underground artists who play/produce music within this range. His productions have been on prominent labels such as Lump Records, Pipe & Pochet, MONADA, Shango, Kosa Records, and more.

Shika Shika is very excited to announce the second volume of Passages, our series of mini-EPs where we invite artists to tell their story of migration through music.

For this edition we invited Guatemalan-born but now Paris-based producer Di Laif to submit three tracks that speak about his experiences migrating to a new continent, culture and language. These three tracks reflect Di Laif’s personal growth as he adapted to his new city with the music reflecting the flutes, vocals and marimbas of his Guatemalan roots seen through the new metropolitan, cosmopolitan and electronic lens.

This mix was recorded live on the sacred-sensual-grounds of Spitzmühle during the Saturday night Parallel Universe Portal at the Intimate Revolution Festival Berlin 2022:  a proper Sextatic-Womb-Tech-Set for your loins/lips/hips, starting nice, slow & deep, building up to twerk-friendly-beats, sacred-booty-bass and raunchy-dirty-peaks...

This gathering was proper New-Earth-Nectar for our collective-evolution:  most certainly one of the more diverse, trauma-aware, body-positive, sex-positive festivals I've attended...props to this Evolution.

It's hard to believe that it's already been 24 editions of cosmique. 

Time has flown by so quickly, I've been really inspired by all the amazing artists and producers out there, and I'm grateful to everyone who has been following this journey with me. It's always a pleasure to be able to share a new mix with you all every month at the full moon.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Kris Baha. The Berlin-based artist has long been a favorite of ours, and today we are excited to present "Mescalin Dreams." This track is part of his groundbreaking new EP, 'Breathe,' released on his own imprint, Power Station. The EP highlights Kris Baha's intricate sound design and continually evolving musical style.

This summer ready EP is a reimagination of the mid-90s and early 2000s Y2K dance era, channeling the essence of that period through a contemporary lens, using techno kicks, progressive trance, 90s synth lines, and EBM-influenced bass sequences, while still retaining KB's signature muscular basslines and textural ear candy, all laced with euphoric synth lines.
