“Appartamento in centro” è il primo disco dei Rookie, è un disco onesto che non si perde in esercizi di stile. Ci sono le chitarre, le distorsioni, le strutture easy e la melodia: tutti gli elementi di quel rock che ci ha fatto innamorare degli anni '90. 
Ogni canzone racconta una storia che seppur diversa, si muove nello stesso contesto sociale. Come in un condomino dove dietro ogni porta ogni persona vive la propria vita. 
Non è certamente un disco politico e non ha la presunzione di fare poesia da cantautorato che ora come ora sembra andare molto di moda. É un disco sociale senza il machismo dell’ hard-core, con uno spirito punk di chi ha raggiunto i 30 anni e si e lasciato alle spalle la paura di dover dimostrare qualcosa. La copertina è fuxia!

“Appartamento in centro“ is the first full lenght of the band Rookie, it’s an honest record that don’t aim to be a style exercise. There are guitars, distortions, easy structures and melody, all the elements of that rock that made us fall in love with the 90’s. 
Each song tells a story which, although different, is moving in the same social context. As in an apartment where behind every door every person lives their life. 
It is certainly not a political record and does not presume to make poetry from songwriting that right now seems to be very fashionable. It ‘a social drive without the machismo of’ hard-core, with a punk spirit of those who have reached the age of 30 and left behind the fear of having to prove something. The cover is fuchsia!

La Strage

Dopo un lungo periodo di cambiamenti all'interno del gruppo, i Donkey ripartono nell'Ottobre 2013 presentando un progetto musicale proprio, ispirandosi a grandi artisti dell'alternative indie rock con suoni molto simili a quelli del british rock e del new wave.
