Here's a fun song, wanted to write something easy i stood a chance of remembering the words to live :) (old age and all that) ... I kinda wanted an upbeat jazzy blues feel ... not sure if i caught it but it was fun to do and is kinda catchy I suppose. Let me know what you think :)

Moonshinin Man

Donna Marie is an accomplished singer/songwriter & music producer from Warrington, North-West of England.
She graduated from Huddersfield University earning a BSC (hons) degree in Music technology and Audio Systems.
In 2007 Donna was writing and performing her self penned songs around the UK and supported major artists like Amy McDonald, Sam Issac and the Black Keys. She also headlined Jools Hollands Jam House in Edinburgh and played various PA’s including Braehead Arena in front of 10,000 people (Glasgow). She has had various record deals including major releases on ministry of sound and clubland (amongst others) but after a very hectic few years decided to take some time out. During this time away from music she found a passion for athletics and competed in marathons, Ultra marathons and various IRONMAN triathlons.
(2015) Donna returned to writing and recording music, this time with producer John Kettle (Lancashire Hotpots, Merry Hell) and released “Broken love EP” which reached number 5 in the iTunes Country charts. She was also performing with a number of artists like
Thorne hill, Lilly Garland, Emma Moore and Jade Halliwell and was nominated BMCA (British Country Musician) for musician of the year 2017. During this time She was spotted by a talent scout and landed a roll in prestigious theatre show ‘A Country Night In Nashville’ playing keyboards, guitar and is also one of the lead singers in the show in theatres across the UK and Ireland.
2019 Donna was invited to perform at the Millport Country Music Festival on the Maverick Magazine Stage as part of their emerging talent lineup and received a fantastic reception.
Donna recently created her own independent record label CLIMBING MOUNTAIN RECORDS where she releases her own music. Her latest single ‘ON THE ROAD’ has been picked up by popular Spotify playlist ‘VERY NEARLY NASHVILLE’ and has already achieved over 50,000 plays. BBC introducing has also championed 'ON THE ROAD’ as the ‘producers pick’.
Her next single 'SHELTER' is due to be released on December 20th 2019 and is currently being played on radio shows across the globe.
