@tiptoesmusic1 is one of hottest new artists that we have discovered over the last year via his work with @momentcinetique and his releases on his own Tiptoes Tapes Label. With releases spanning the coolest of deep house alongside some outstanding disco edged house music he's an artist who we now keep a very close eye on. It's fitting then that he is now back on Moment Cinetique with a scorcher of a double header, the 3AM EP.

Rising St Petersburg producer Meowsn purrs onto ROOB for the Running Out Of Steam sub-labels inaugural release, bringing the producer's trademark choppy hip-hop, sleazy hip-house and nostalgic radiance on a killer debut.

There’s a free jazz spirit that flows through CATMOUSEGAME2; the dusty smell of an underground speakeasy can almost be felt on the EPs opener - ‘DrunkCat’ - a bouncing cut of NYC influenced hip hop that inspires images of large concrete buildings and greetings on the street. Appropriately named, this might be what those jazz-cats in Aristocats would be making had the movie not been for children.

The subterranean spirit of hip hop is alive still on ‘Wistleman’; an improvised jazz cut that is simple and effective, before heads begin bopping with a little more conviction on the low-swing and vibrant soul of ‘Ganksta’; infectious hip-house that can’t help but be moved to.

The A-side completes with an alternative listening experience; subdued and experimental it encapsulates the energy of a lowly-lit after hours joint, before the dub-peppered vibes and let-go-for-a-walk basslines of ‘Cashflow’ invite you back to the dancefloor, ‘Ladies You Know’ maintaining that same scratch-influenced nostalgia that just feels oh so warm.

Rounding off the B-side is ‘Winter Swapping’; cold winds whip up a storm as snowflakes slowly invade the windows while we’re wrapped up warm and cosy inside with phat beats and friends.

Our man in London is back on the label! Exactly 1 year after his first release on Dirt Crew and two very successful records on his own new imprint “Income Trax” and the New York based “Razor-N-Tape” label. Clive has been consistently growing his following this past year and refining his sound and production. So now we are truly excited to welcome him back, especially as this release will also be on a limited 12” vinyl.

The opener “Pearls” features the amazingly talented London based musician/ composer Jessica Roch on violin and vocals. It’s an uplifting electronica meets deep house track that shines with positivity and beautiful melodies based on an analogue synth foundation by Clive himself. Truly a new addition to Clive’s musical language.

The A2 track “4 Time” is a swinging groover featuring a lush deep beat topped with piano and strings stabs and consisting of great funk all over. Followed be the super fun “Rough and Tough” as first track on then B side. Clive really gives us his new summer anthem here as far as we are concerned. Dance floor happiness guaranteed and we can’t wait to hear this one in an open field and on a big sound system!

As a treat for all fans, we decided to give “Gravitate” the well-deserved vinyl spot as the closing track to this great new record. This jam got massive support over the last months and is Clive’s best performing track on the digital platforms. Here we remastered it especially for vinyl and it sounds doper than ever! Enjoy!

Simon's profile has been growing rapidly since then including a feature on Disclosure's DJ Kicks compilation and this EP showcases his wide spectrum of his signature styles featuring a mixture of rich, compelling strings, euphoric brass and lo-fi elements underpinned by raw percussion.

Silky smooth house vibes from Retromigration as you would imagine. Intricate synth & sax riffs combine with perfectly timed vocal snippets to give a lush A side that wouldn’t feel out of place on KDJ. 
The Earl Jeffers remix adds a bit more beef to the situation, bringing chunky Omar S style kicks for a dubbed out chunkier rework of the original. 
‘Stop the Presses’ is an anthem! Ridiculous vocal work and smooth as you like shuffled beats provide the perfect setting for an absolute summer slayer.
‘You & Dion’ jacks the tempo up a notch and uses arpeggiated bass-lines and classic Retromigration wind instrument sounds to amazing effect.

About time we had this fella on for a full EP since we've been a huge fan of @erik-ellmann productions for a long time. Erik has become a well-known name in the underground scene with releases on SlothBoogie, Berlin House Music and also he contributed to our sampler "Loosey Goose" last year with his much appreciated track "Southern Comfort".

We heartily welcome him to our family in which he sets the tone for autumn. It's at times heavy, it's definitely house with a dash of melancholia. Simply put, the perfect EP to sum up the vibe the that Erik wants to transmit.

Frappé is releasing its 1st studio EP on November 30th and it's a standout record: the parisian label has asked the great Art Of Tones to collaborate with the jazz / funk band Chatobaron, whose leader is Frank Chatona (from Cotonete).
This is a highly special project for the label, coming from the heart of its founders Basile de Suresnes and Ten Fingerz, who have had the will to create this unique collaboration between the amazing House music producer Art Of Tones and top-quality studio musicians. Under the direction of the House Music artist, the band led by Frank Chatona (Saxophone, drums, guitar, bass guitar and keyboards) have worked together on the tracks, which have been recorded during a very intense studio session in Paris. The result is a crystal-clear and warm sounding EP, which is a hybrid between the club sound and the jazz funk studio sound. Frappé has decided to celebrate this work the best possible way with a digital release and a limited edition vinyl pressing. Only 300 copies will be available, don't miss it!
