These pieces have been so touching. I can say from personal experience it gets easier and while that gap remains I think it signifies how lucky we were to have such wonderful people in our life to begin with. My sincerest condolences for you and your family.

I can feel the pain through your music... this is beautiful. Like a “you’re gone but never forgoten” type thing... beautiful. 

I lost my father a few years back when I was 16, he was quite the muso, in a touching but bittersweet way this song reminded me of him and the gap that's been left behind. Thankyou, I hope you're family is doing okay.

Lost my mom to cancer 15 years ago now, i know the experience is not the same, but i know some of the hurt, and im so sorry yall are going through it.  It will get easier, in time, and what remains with be the fond memories of better times, and alot less of the sadness.   Hold onto those good itmes, hold onto faces and voices.  And one day, youll be able to look back and smile, without that hurt in your chest

The Gap

This was written in reference to where my other half (Annette) "strained" her back pulling on a rope when in fact it was the first symptom from her cancer. I wrote this before the other three tunes but wasn't happy with it until I made a few changes
