Clippers Like a Sweet Spot

The two boys have finally stepped up their recording quality by recording their songs with a proper 16 track recorder, rather than with their phones.

The long-awaited, highly anticipated second album is here and Don't Run from the Bear has never sounded so good, with catchy, heavy and upbeat songs made beautifully by the melodic guitar work and heavenly vocals. The perfect drum patterns are all homemade on an old secondhand Zoom drum machine, the tasty basslines recorded on a Bass borrowed from one of their dad's, all contributing to 8 unique and original sounding songs drawing inspirations from all over the shop (Pixies, Nirvana, The Smiths, Oasis, Slaves etc...).

A lot of time and effort has gone into this album, both Kai and Lewis have spent too many days indoors to create something that hopefully you enjoy. Best album of the year? No, but best unknown album of the year? I hope not!
