Sub Accent is one of Johan Bonnefoy's aliases born in 2015, this avatar represents music that borrows its references from the futurism of first-generation Detroit techno to the acid groove of Dutch Electro, Viewlexx, and others, to the hypnotic depth of the Italian deep scene, to the mechanical and cold aspect of the German pioneers, to the roughness of the experiments of Zoviet France, Einsturzende Neubauten, and other electronic punk. Released on renowned labels such as Concrete Records, BokhHri, Noorden, Kvltö Records and countless V/As, Sub Accent does not hesitate to mix styles According to his desires, and composes on his modular synthesizers and other machines that he has been collecting for over twenty years, producing rich and varied sounds between raw, deep, dub Hnd experimental.

Founder of the label Accents Records since 2014, he continues to scout the young talents of this flourishing scene, the label counts today twenty-five releases on vinyl, cassette, and digital formats and gathering internationally renowned artists and rising figures such as Hydrangea, Zesknel, Evitceles, Zadig, Simone Bauer, Forest On Stasys, Josef Gaard... The year 2022 marks a turning point in Sub Accent's musical career with a vinyl release on Concrete Records alongside Luigi Tozzy, Dino Sabatini, and Giorgio Gigli, the preparation of his first solo 12', and important upcoming releases on different formats on equally demanding labels.

PREMIERE: Mareena & JakoJako - Neue Impulse [ Edition Dur ]

Cosmic Society, the Berlin-based collective and record label, gears up to unveil a double-feature remix release of Galga's track 'Sold 1.' Having initially debuted as a single two years ago through the same label, this release not only rekindles the allure of the original track but also breathes new life into it through the remixes from Quarion and Anja Zaube.

Anja Zaube's remix, an auditory exploration of her ingenuity, unfurls like a rhythmic odyssey, gradually revealing its layers across an expansive canvas that stretches over an evocative eleven-minute voyage. The track commences with a meticulously constructed foundation, characterized by a deliberate rhythmic cadence punctuated by resonant reverb and the sharp percussive thud of 808 claps, infusing a compelling dynamism into the groove. Yet, it's the gradual evolution that truly distinguishes this rendition. The remix transforms over time, gradually transitioning from its initial rhythm into a contemplative odyssey, emboldened by a vibrating melody and elongated, crystalline pads. This journey is marked by an underlying melancholy resonance, which amplifies its emotional depth and reflective atmosphere. Destined for the expansive spaces of the big room, Anja Zaube's remix offers a shift in mood, fitting seamlessly into the elongated techno explorations of dimly lit spaces.

RANDSTAD is the producer and DJ alias of multidisciplinary artist Thomas van Linge. He co-founded the labels BAKK, RUBBER, and the PLAFOND series. RANDSTAD has released on fantastic labels such as Murder Tbilisi, Pinkman, Veyl and Body Musick to name just a few.

This mix is an iteration of his recent closing set at LAAK, which is one of the newest and hottest underground clubs in The Netherlands.
