Ad aprire le danze del nostro tanto atteso Luglio è un'artista d'eccezione: Simon Oak. Da Perugia con furore, passione ed un pizzico di follia: Co-founder del duo Black Finesse, poliedricità e sperimentilasimo sono le parole chiavi di ogni sua prestazione musicale.
Nulla si crea, nulla si distrugge, tutto si trasforma. Come il suo suono.
La lente attraverso cui vede e traduce il mondo nasce dal connubio (quasi) perfetto tra scienza ed arte: come l'interazione di atomi è permessa da un legame chimico che permetta la creazione di molecole, alla stessa maniera egli plasma il ritmo di ogni suo set assemblando sonorità eterogenee.
Il risultato di ambedue i processi è lo stesso: liberazione di energia. 
Il set che ci ha regalato è la foresta che viene soggiogata dal buio della notte e dal suono dei suoi dischi: sono i nostri alberi che si fanno spazio nella notte, danzando.
E' così facile, con Simon Oak, sentirsi già al Komorebi Music Festival.

To open the dances of our long-awaited July is an exceptional artist: Simon Oak. From Perugia with fury, passion and a pinch of madness: Co-founder of the Black Finesse duo, versatility and experimentation are the keywords of each of his musical performances.
Nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, everything is transformed. Like its sound.
The lens through which he sees and translates the world comes from the (almost) perfect union between science and art: just as the interaction of atoms is allowed by a chemical bond that allows the creation of molecules, in the same way he shapes the rhythm of his set by assembling heterogeneous sonorities.
The result of both processes is the same: release of energy.
The set he gave us is the forest that is subdued by the darkness of the night and by the sound of his records: it's our trees that make room for themselves in the night, dancing.
It's so easy, with Simon Oak, to already feel at the Komorebi Music Festival.
We're almost there, friends.

Sub Accent is one of Johan Bonnefoy's aliases born in 2015, this avatar represents music that borrows its references from the futurism of first-generation Detroit techno to the acid groove of Dutch Electro, Viewlexx, and others, to the hypnotic depth of the Italian deep scene, to the mechanical and cold aspect of the German pioneers, to the roughness of the experiments of Zoviet France, Einsturzende Neubauten, and other electronic punk. Released on renowned labels such as Concrete Records, BokhHri, Noorden, Kvltö Records and countless V/As, Sub Accent does not hesitate to mix styles According to his desires, and composes on his modular synthesizers and other machines that he has been collecting for over twenty years, producing rich and varied sounds between raw, deep, dub Hnd experimental.

Founder of the label Accents Records since 2014, he continues to scout the young talents of this flourishing scene, the label counts today twenty-five releases on vinyl, cassette, and digital formats and gathering internationally renowned artists and rising figures such as Hydrangea, Zesknel, Evitceles, Zadig, Simone Bauer, Forest On Stasys, Josef Gaard... The year 2022 marks a turning point in Sub Accent's musical career with a vinyl release on Concrete Records alongside Luigi Tozzy, Dino Sabatini, and Giorgio Gigli, the preparation of his first solo 12', and important upcoming releases on different formats on equally demanding labels.

Micaela Casella aka E L A is an Argentinian DJ based in Milan. She began her musical journey in 2011 in Córdoba. Returning to her hometown Buenos Aires a few years later gave her the opportunity to get more deeply involved with her beloved Techno through the “Arjaus” School of Electronic Music.
E L A captures ambient soundscapes and subtle grooves full of surprising change. The psychedelic nuances in his selection constantly create innovative atmospheres. Her hypnotic sounds, inviting rhythms and timely transitions define her.

On Board Music - Mix Series - Twofold OB30

In 2016 i remixed the original soundtrack of the 2007 Argentine fantasy drama film written and directed by Esteban Sapir. I created loops of samples from the filmscore.

November 2016 we performed live at Kino Rotterdam during the "La Notte" Filmfestival. The same hall where we once did the premiere of CHI, The Original Recordings (1986). The place was then called "Lantaren/Venster". 

For this special event we were invited by CineSonic. We improvised live on the basic sketches under the filmscrene. We each had a video monitor. On the photo (from left to right):

Back on his HIFI/LOFI home base, Franz Matthews continues his habit of turning up in
unexpected sonic spaces. Night Tales finds him delving into a more introspective, deep, and
melancholic palette, while preserving the organic warmth and groove-driven energy that define his ever-evolving sound.

The EP’s opening tale, Again, takes us on a melancholic night ride through the ever-repeating ups
and downs of life, where darkness and light follow one another in an endless cycle - soundtracked by an orchestra of lush synths, soft rhodes melodies, dreamy guitars, and Franz’s delicately crafted vocals.

Howling at the Moon dives deeper into the night, driven by hypnotic percussion, dark synth
stabs, and haunting vocals that summon a sense of collective trance. The track builds toward a
wordless vocal chant that feels both human and otherworldly, unfolding into a swaying, almost
tango-esque groove where rhythms subtly intertwine.

Closing the EP, You & I stands apart — restored from a nine-year-old lost writing session, this
nostalgic yet hopeful electronic pop track felt right at home within the EP, where its warm house
textures and Lights Out’s delicate, heartfelt vocals wrap up these Night Tales with a timeless sense of longing and connection.
