This one’s an old dark psy project I left behind a while ago. Came back to it with a new perspective and ended up bringing a pretty hypnotic dark soundscape to life. Rough around the edges but raw and real. 160bpm thumping pumping fun.

The lonely storm

Late in the night along a dense forest a trail forms through the cold grass at your feet. The ancient trees scatter revealing a gentle flowing river of pristine water. A rhythmic thump shakes the water and you feel each pulse vibrating up through your body, and in the depths you see a growing light. As you shuffle to the edge of the riverbank entranced in the light's beauty you notice a little creature in the water staring straight at you clicking its claws to the beat.

Inspired by the Latin word for "breathe out / expire," the project is a release of raw emotion and energy, creating immersive, high-intensity journeys through haunting atmospheres and driving basslines. Exspiravit embodies the raw, untamed spirit of bush doofs and underground gatherings.
