The second edition of the ‘Together 2022 Reloaded’ project by Moondance and Dope Ammo features some great remix collaborations including Georgie Riot, MKII, Isaac Maya and the legendary jungle don Bladerunner. Considering the project itself has achieved well over a million streams worldwide, it is safe to say what you’re about to hear is top quality material with everything you loved from the past brought bang up to date with authenticity.

‘Together’ by Dope Ammo, DJ Rap and Jasmine Knight gets a subtle rework by Georgie Riot aimed at both dance floors and radio airplay alike. This is more of a fresh lick of paint than a drastic amendment which pays off well considering the original reached anthem status last year. MKII drops a four to the floor remix jammed packed with ‘92 flavour although you will have to wait for the first breakdown for full impact! The gradual takedown works in effect here so if you enjoy slamming in a surprise for the crowd, look no further. The final edit of ‘Together’ goes to Isaac Maya on an experimental tip, bubbling with an abundance of quick kick and snare combos, off key drone bass and the odd hoover to get inside your head.

Fans of the classic hardcore ‘I Need Your Loving’ will no doubt have fond memories of every single Rat Pack set slamming this monster. Bladerunner does (as expected) a top job here with smooth reece basslines and chopped up Amen breaks. One for the 4am crew, the motorway service station revellers and anyone swinging their jaw at the start of the night..

Jimmy J and Cru-L-T’s ‘Runaway’ gets the Dope Ammo treatment to wrap up the EP. A tune so reminiscent of ‘95 hardcore vibes now gets slammed to the deck in monstrous low end that pitch bends to oblivion and back. It works well, so well in fact that you’re probably already reloading the tune for the 6th time.

What’s next for Moondance and Dope Ammo? Who knows...

Dope Ammo's remix of Baby D’s rave classic “Let Me Be Your Fantasy” reached No.2 in the main Beatport Chart. It also became Beatport's biggest selling Drum & Bass tune over a 12 month period.
