It was first recorded by Louis Armstrong and released as a single in 1967. Thiele and Weiss were both prominent in the music world (Thiele as a producer and Weiss as a composer/performer Armstrong's recording was inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999. The Ambient Zone is a beautiful journey into ambient and electronica inspired by universal themes of calmness, purity, relaxation and enrichment where Weightless is coupled with some exclusive first releases and other blissfully ambient tracks from Just Music artists and alumni.

Created instinctively and intuitively by Marconi Union, Weightless has been claimed to have therapeutic properties in the way the track almost appears to have a heartbeat running through it which slows down very gently throughout the piece, encouraging a deep sense of relaxation in the body, It's use of specific rhythms, beep bass tones, frequencies and intervals induce an almost trance like state in the listener.

Welcome to Sequences, time seems to be certainly flying this year, already into March with this edition, again Mick has put an excellent range of music on air for you. Syngate Records have re-released two early albums by Jack Spruch known as E-Motion, who sadly departed this world to soon in 2013. It’s been awhile since we featured Steve Hillman and his collaboration with Greek composer Thaneco has produced an exceptional album, Empyreal, hear one of our favourite dark wave bands, Mercury’s Antennae, also feeling a bit more adventurous, we indulged in some tasty Kraut rock from Russian Maat Lander and the boys will be drooling over the looks of Alira Mun, presenting her vocals on Gemma, produced by Thy Veils, Daniel Dorobantu, probably will not go down to well with the stance listeners of electronic music, who remembers the disappointment from some fans towards the first two tracks of Tangerine Dream’s Cyclone album. We kick off this session with Andy Pickford’s latest release, Harmonics In Silence, one of two new releases, the other titled, Shadows Of The Gate, both an epic continuous suite of over 3hours, Shadows not to be missed, will be previewed in our next podcast
