Florian Meindl is a multi-talented and multi-faceted artist, who is renowned for his technical
prowess.
Producing for over fourteen years, Florian has become known for his deep, grooving powerful
techno. His productions are characterised by his love of analog, which represent his true signature
sound.
2006 saw the inception of Florian’s label FLASH Recordings. The label showcases Florian’s musical
vision, reflects his taste and gives him tracks for his DJ Mixes. A platform for artists that Florian
likes, FLASH has had over 130 releases already including tracks from Heron, Electric Rescue, Jamie
Anderson, Alignment, Hans Bouffmyhre & Avgusto.
In May 2015 Florian released his second solo album ‘Collide’ to critical acclaim. The album was
clearly influenced by Florian’s transition from producing almost entirely digitally for thirteen years
to recording mainly analog jamming sessions and editing the end results after on the computer. The
technical aspect is integral to Florian’s musical journey that he takes the listener on. His talent lies
in enabling the machines to speak and groove, to connect with them and create sounds and
patterns.
In addition to solo releases and numerous collaborations with international artists, and remixing the
likes of Hot Chip & Royksopp, Florian is busy with his sound design brand Riemann Kollektion and
Riemann Modular which is his new studio gear company specializing in Eurorack Modules.
As a DJ, live performer, studio producer and sound designer, Florian has over the years established
an impressive producing base for himself in his Berlin based Riverside Studio complex with an
exciting hardware set up including Modular Systems, an analog mixing desk as well as classic
machines like Roland 909.
After fourteen years of international performances and production, Florian has developed a special
connection with his analog equipment, letting them speak for him in music where words just aren’t
possible. His third album will be released in February 2017 in combination with a worldwide full
analog live act tour.

There are not many artists these days who manage to forge their reputation solely as a DJ, but Pierre comes proudly from an era when the craft of stitching records together into a meaningful experience had just as much importance placed on it as being the producer behind the tunes. From his position of influence as one of the long-standing residents of the world famous Fuse club, he has been responsible for countless moments of shock and awe amongst the club-going crowds of Brussels and beyond.
His roots are in the foundations of funk, soul and disco, although like any seasoned digger his tastes reach into the pulse of new wave and obscure 80s electronics. From catching the house and techno bug in 1991 at Fifty Five in Kuurne, he made a natural progression to spinning US deep house at a Sunday residency at Café d’Anvers, at a time when it was rarely heard in Belgium.
This determination to play the music he wanted to hear, whether fashionable or not, has guided his style ever since, and when Fuse opened in 1994 his remit to explore Detroit house and techno as one of the residents gave him the perfect platform to shape the identity of the iconic club.
Through the years of the mammoth I Love Techno events, sharing a radio show with Dave Clarke and delivering numerous mix albums, Pierre also found time to channel his groove instinct into studio sessions. Of these excursions, one of the most timeless is his “Reconstruction Mix” of Spokesman’s “Acid Creak”, originally released in 1994 and still slammed out at techno temples across the world to this day.
However the increasingly knuckleheaded thump of schranz and other such monochromatic techno styles meant that Pierre’s focus started to evolve towards a more experimental style, and with JessicaBossuyt he started the Lessizmore events, label and booking agency as an outlet for the most creative aspects of European house and techno.
The boom in more adventurous minimal records in the early ‘00s was a perfect match for Pierre’s wild tastes, and as the credible corners of the scene kept moving on to pastures new so Lessizmore has evolved naturally to present some of the most exciting music revolving around, but not limited by, the 4/4 groove.
With his years served in the nightlife of Brussels Pierre has turned his hand to parties in unofficial locations, held down residencies at Le Triptyque in Paris and Arma 17 in Moscow and also been invited to launch the Fuse label. It’s this mixture of professional instinct and a constant hunger for new, challenging ways to experience music that have made Pierre such a lasting influence on generations of party people, with the art of his DJing and the direction of his events at the heart of what he does. In his own words, “whether it be for the Fuse’s bookings or those for my label Lessizmore, it’s more of a feeling and family business than anything else.”

Many times, biographies of techno acts start by singing their praise of an extremely early,
extraordinary talent on synthesizers and other electronic devices.

In Heron’s case, things are different. Because Martin Spittel has been shaped musically since his childhood, the influences were as diverse as music can be.

On one side, there was his grandfather, who played various instruments, and to whom young Martin related closest to and whose influence still lasts until today. On the other side there were his cousins who were not much older than himself, enthusiastic about AC/DC, and band members themselves. Over the course of the following years, he explored the diversity of Black, Death and Trash Metal, EBM and Industrial, right up to Detroit Techno.

Ever since then, Heron's environment served as compensation to ferce parties and expanding his musical horizon. This symbiosis from the love of nature and the musical influences from his early childhood are a direct reflection of Heron’s entire life.

Following the scream of the waders (limicoline birds), he moved to picturesque island Norderney in 2003. There, exploring the island’s national park, he decided to live up to his enthusiasm about nature by going to study landscape ecology at the University of Münster. It turned out: The relocation to Münster was the initial spark for his career; the months in Norderney were inspiration for the name of his label “Limikola” which was founded in late 2008 and enjoyed enormous support by both DJs and fans.

After launching his now very successful °Schaltkreis-parties with four friends in mid-2007, everything went quickly: His first own radio show “The Grasshopper Warbler”, contacts to prominent players like Someone Else and Heartthrob, and finally the moment in early 2008 during the season’s opening at Time Warp, when Richie Hawtin played all three tracks from Heron’s Retro EP. It was merely his second EP, released on a netlabel (Minisome), and it became immediately successful. A knightly accolade.

The journey that Heron started lead to his bombshell track “Welcome to the Adventure Club” that charted in the Beatport charts in 2008, and continued with remixes and releases for Synewave, Supdub, Swap, micro.fon, Prosthetic Pressings and Sleaze Records. In 2010, it culminated with a tour across North America during the summer.

Two years later he released his very first EP on the legendary Detroit label KMS Records, owned by Kevin Saunderson, followed by remixes for Drumcomplex, P-Ben and Chris Gekä, one collaboration project with Inner City's Ann Saunderson and his second solo release „Ride The Pride“. Furthermore he made the step into the Soma family by publishing three solo EPs and an EP with Kevin's son Dantiez Saunderson, as well as he started to release on Florian Meindl's FLASH Recordings.

A.Paul has been a driving force in the evolution of techno music since its inception. He is recognised for his intense DJ performances and his relentless stream of studio productions for some of the best labels in the world. Operating under his own name as well as aliases like Loudon Kleer and Beat Therapy, A.Paul has spent over 30 years dedicated to electronic music, earning a reputation as one of the most versatile and prolific artists in the scene.

His distinctive sound and technique have propelled him to a remarkable career, first gaining recognition in Portugal, where he was repeatedly voted the best Portuguese techno DJ, and later on an international scale. 

A.Paul has performed at some of the most prestigious mega-eventsaround the world, including Awakenings (Netherlands), Apokalypsa (CzechRepublic), Evolve (Canada), Nature One (Germany), Rock in Rio (Portugal),Syndicate (Germany), Ruhr-in-Love (Germany), Tecnolandia (Portugal),Aquasella (Spain), Liberty White (Belgium), and Decibel (Netherlands). He has also graced the decks at iconic clubs such as Tresor, U60311, Lehmann, and Butan (Germany); Fabrik, Moog, Makumba, Ind Copera, Row14 (Spain); Perron, Panama, Poema (Netherlands); Rex and Inox (France);and Locomia, Rocks, Kremlin, Gare, Pacha (Portugal), among many others.

A.Paul’s first record was released in 1995, followed by the creation of two of his most acclaimed projects of the 1990s: Squeeze Records and Onh.Cet Records, which were the primary outlets for his music during that decade. 

In 2005, he launched Naked Lunch, a bold new label that has since featured some of the best techno artists in the world and received incredible feedback from DJs and fans alike. In 2012, he relaunched Onh.Cet, alongside other projects such as Parallel 125, Dirty Ego, The Light, and Xtractz. He also co-founded MPC, a vinyl distribution company, with Michaelangelo (Labrynth Recs) and Cisco Ferreira (The Advent).
 
A.Paul has released over 100 vinyl records and many digital releases on labels like Kombination Research, Synewave, Planet Rhythm, Suara,bItalo Business, Pure Sonik, Theory, Mastertraxx, Beat Disaster, Yin Yang, and Impact Mechanics. He has also remixed tracks for renowned artists such as The Advent, Ben Sims, Eric Sneo, Angel Alanis, Orlando Voorn, Damon Wild, DJ T-1000, Virgil Enzinger, Robert Armani, Dave The Drummer, DJPreach, Mike Humphries, Spiros Kaloumenos, Torsten Kanzler, Bas Mooy, Housemaster Boyz, and many more.
