Music inspired by the Legend of Zelda series put together for DJ SEAMOOSE's birthday party. I used this as an opportunity to learn how to use Ableton. I started with MIDI files for the game music, got some sounds from the games and went to town. Other than the MIDI files, it's all me.
Thank you Nintendo, for such a wonderful and impactful series. Legend of Zelda has played such a huge role in my life and I can't say enough about how it has contributed to who I am.

This is a channel for a studio project called Grand Prize (est. 2002), it's trip-hop with several other influences, rock, pop, indie/lo-fi, funk, psychedelia, boom-bap, folk, ect. Founded by Jez Stephen, who incepted all the projects, the label has released over 30 albums, crafting a unique sonic identity across genres.
