Listed as the 12th most important film song of all time by the American Film Institute, this song was introduced by Carol Channing in the original Broadway production of 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' (1949), which was written by Jule Styne and Leo Robin.  Famously performed by Marilyn Monroe in the 1953 film version.  Of the non-Carol Channing voice, most of the song in the film is Monroe's own voice but she needed help in two phrases – "These rocks don't lose their shape, diamonds are a girl's best friend", and at the beginning with a series of high-pitched "no's", all of which were dubbed in by the soprano Marni Nixon.

Osmar Rios Aguilar, also known as Double Oh Pimo, is a Chicago-born and raised artist with a passion for music, mixing, and producing. He particularly inspired his creativity by the local Chicago House music scene, which includes artists such as Microdot, Rampage, MaddJazz, Rob Threezy, Charlie Glitch, Dice, Nader, Film 42, M-Dok, EdNine, and Syko.
 
In 2006, Double Oh Pimo joined an entertainment party crew group called END, where he learned to mix music using pioneer CDJs 800s while throwing parties every weekend along with other party crews like Ghetto Division, Chicago Dead Beats ,Second City, NFK, Envy, Takeover, HitEm’Up and Spotlight. He later formed a group called Stereobots, which grew in popularity in the Chicago music scene and was created with his good friend Francisco Syko Hernandez, focusing on Chicago House and other electronic music genres.

Double Oh Pimo continues to be inspired by the talent of Chicago along with the new found talent in Mexico City, which spans from artists like 1oo1o, AAAA, Dj Fucci, Villaseñor, Ann Garcia, Mensik, Lyo XS, Blue Command and many more.
