Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area/Oakland, Las Vegas-based Fans Of Jimmy Century is the fringe modwave, genre-bending duo of vocalist|voice actor Alicia Perrone and bassist|producer|video director Victor James. Chicago-born drummer Mike Long now tours and records with FOJC full time. Their family-friendly novelty holiday album "A Coupla Holiday Spirits (Halloween Perils and Christmas Carols)" came out 7/26/24 on AWAL/Sony Music and features standout tracks "Here Comes Christmas" and the Calypso pop tune "Wannabe Dracula."  It debuted in the Billboard Top 10 Comedy Albums and the following week because the #1 iTunes Holiday Album.  

The stark contrast between their songwriting and visual presentation style began their obsession with genre-bending.  They create whimsical, comedic characters to deliver the songs inhabiting their own unique world on the fringe of the status quo.  Their kitschy playful music, outlandish videos, comedic lyrics and bold style are enjoyed by the the young at heart.  From their early days under the tutleage of The Cars’ Ric Ocasek to their current state, they remain true to their left-of-center unpredictable roots.

Taking inspiration from the greatest artists of all time, Schubbz makes his presence known amongst them.
A skew of what is right and what is sometimes wrong, Schubbz respectfully puts you in forced perspective from his approach to crafting audio features. Schubbz puts forth his lyrics and independently made instrumentations into the world believing it can take thousands of years to understand his true meanings. Schubbz’s approach is to deliver powerful messages through his music with avant-garde instrumentations. These instrumentals are made through experimentation, and have developed throughout the years.
At the brink of what is possible, Schubbz takes a stance of fortitude amongst the greatest by pushing the underground music scene in Connecticut. His approach harkens back to devised methods of constructing multifaceted media that have layers of meaning. Schubbz’s approach takes inspiration from Leonardo Da-Vinci as he develops precise methods to eminate from his sound templates. Encoding societal messages is integral when it comes to Schubbz and his music. Songs like “Profound Departures” on his album ‘Confessionals’ and the single “Condensed State” expand Schubbz’s notion of using confrontational ideas in music. Topics brought up by these songs in particular are the nature of God’s relationship to us, and the idea there are religions that do not regard Christ as their savior. The ideas brought forth in these tracks are contrary to normal thought and should be regarded as such. Although many of Schubbz’s track lyrics are not made public online, he demonstrates lyrical ability to convey complex philisophical ideas. 

The history behind Schubbz has information to look back upon. Starting in 2015, Schubbz going by the artist name “Chewbie” (inspired from Star Wars and the character Chewbacca) put out remixes and instrumentals. Around 2018 was when he would start making his own lyrical compositions. The first artist that Schubbz made music with was Billy Deroy, with the track called “Innuendo”. This track was deleted off of SoundCloud but the impact still remains, as it racked up over ten thousand views when it was released. This song has a beat that sampled some Japanese soul band. The second artist that Schubbz worked with was Willow the Cat but their work would hit the scene later in 2021. From around 2016 to 2020, Chewbie would be producing instrumentals for Aedan Outlaw, trying to make a splash in the music scene on the West Coast as Aedan moved out there. Chewbie even went on live radio with Aedan Outlaw in CT, however his rhymes were badly worded which Aedan Outlaw explained in this interview: https://youtu.be/Kh39r8nT0AM?si=IDTQuYICur-qE5yH. Chewbie would then change his name to Schubbz in 2021, an alteration of his childhood nickname “Chubs”. Under the name Schubbz, he would release his albums.

2021: Album called ‘246 Rush’ with features from Willow the Cat.
2022: EP called ‘cognitohazard’ and single called “Condensed State”
2023: Single called corpos: “red beam” and 3 track EP called ‘Woodlands 3’
2024: Single called “Your Majesty”, album called ‘True to This”, and album called “Confessionals.
2025: Single named “Solitary Lane” and album called ‘SCRAP MUSEUM’ which features Aedan Outlaw, Lil Nene, and Icy$ Trey.


These compositions evolved from volatile lyrical displays to more mature demonstrations of how hope can be restored in humanity. Schubbz wants to be the one to pioneer our way into the next age in music through evolving in to the pinnacle of groundbreaking art.  Schubbz states “ I am ready for the next step in my art. I want to evolve with music to the point where I can create masterpieces”. Schubbz believes he is on his way to be able to create amongst his inspirations. and he hopes to create a project with the greatest of all time in music.

Double-F the King is determined to reconstruct the way the world views the whole trap and mainstream hip hop industry as filled with dumbed-down lyrics and concepts, by passing meaningful messages, without compromising the sonic appeal of his music.
