About a month ago, a couple of us went to a Duran Duran concert… and Wild Boys hit us hard. That raw energy, the wild vibe, it stayed with us. So we decided to create something in that same spirit: dirty, loud, aggressive… but 100% our own.
Street Dogs is about instinct, survival, and sticking together. We’re the ones with no masters, no leashes, just fangs, claws, and fire in our blood. In this concrete jungle, we fight dirty, we howl at the moon, and we never back down.

The lyrics for this track are taken from a key scene in the unpublished novel "Hinter uns das Land" (The Land Behind Us). It tells the raw, unfiltered story of a young German refugee's "homecoming" in 1948 – not to a welcoming fatherland, but to a landscape of destroyed train stations, bureaucratic coldness, and the quiet, heartbreaking moment a lifelong dream is shattered by a single piece of paper.

Musically, this piece is a fusion of melancholic jazz, blues, and deep, weary spoken-word verses, creating a cinematic, "film noir" atmosphere for this tale of disillusionment.

This is the sound of a generation arriving home, only to find they are more lost than ever before.

I went with more of an ambient pad idea for the peacefulness of the activity of fishing like we were doing an early 90's PC game around it as a sport or something.  I remembered the fishing holes in Iceland that Sergeant Smith was smirking and describing as 200 USD a day to get a permit during Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy and that influenced my track art choice.
