This is absolutely brilliant, Doug. It feels less like a song and more like a theatrical monologue or a one-act play set to a sparse, unsettling piano score. You've created such a vivid and pathetic character in the "humble dictator." The lyrics are incredibly dense and witty – the description of the party with the "political musical chairs" is a fantastic image. It’s like a piece of modern, absurdist theater. A truly unique and compelling work of art.
