Ce titre, produit par le Projet Musicus, est  réarrangé par moi dans le style combo-jazz-classique pour mon duo avec Marie-Christine Tremblay : MCDC.  Il met en vedette Tim Morgan au piano;  Olivier Mallette à la batterie;  François Moisan à la basse et moi à la guitare. Avec la très belle réalisation studio de Martin Larose du STUDIO SEPTENTRIO la pièce nous plonge dans une douce nostalgie propice aux Temps des Fêtes. Bonne écoute et Joyeux Noël!!

This track, produced by the Musicus Project, is rearranged by me in the combo-jazz-classical style for my duo with Marie-Christine Tremblay: MCDC.  It stars Tim Morgan on piano;  Olivier Mallette on drums;  François Moisan on bass and me on guitar. With the beautiful studio work by Martin Larose of STUDIO SEPTENTRIO the piece plunges us into a sweet nostalgia conducive to the Holidays. Happy listening and Merry Christmas!!

Book 5 of "Hinter uns das Land" / "Behind Us The Land" opens a new chapter: The horrors of war lie behind the protagonists, but the scars run deep. This music collection accompanies the Feyerabend family in the post-war era, a time of rebuilding, hope, and slow healing.

The music of Book 5 is an eclectic mix of styles and eras, reflecting the complexity of starting anew. German Schlager hits of the 1950s and nostalgic chansons evoke memories of the past and a rediscovered joy of life. Acoustic sounds, folk, and jazz symbolize the search for security and a new normal. Brit Pop, Swing, and Rock'n'Roll represent the dawn of a new era, while Indie Pop, Chamber Pop, and even a wedding march musically underscore the hope and the gradual blossoming of new dreams. But the shadows of the past are still present, captured in melancholic ballads, a sad piano piece, psychedelic folk, spiritual hip-hop, and powerful post-rock. Even punk rock finds its place, expressing the regained freedom and zest for life.

This music is a sonic tapestry of the post-war era, a tribute to the will to survive, the importance of family, and the strength of the human spirit. It captures the ambivalence of this epoch: The burden of memory and the simultaneous spirit of optimism, the grief for what was lost and the hope for a new beginning.

"Hinter uns das Land" - Musik zu Buch 5 (Part 1): Aufbruch in eine neue Zeit

Buch 5 von "Hinter uns das Land" schlägt ein neues Kapitel auf: Die Schrecken des Krieges liegen hinter den Protagonisten, doch die Narben sind tief. Diese Musiksammlung begleitet die Familie Feyerabend in der Nachkriegszeit, einer Zeit des Wiederaufbaus, der Hoffnung und des langsamen Heilens.

Die Musik zu Buch 5 ist eine eklektische Mischung aus Stilen und Epochen, die die Vielschichtigkeit des Neubeginns widerspiegelt. Schlager der 50er Jahre und nostalgische Chansons erinnern an die Vergangenheit und die wiedergefundene Lebensfreude.
