It's been a long time. I've taken a year off to properly learn production and you know what, it was pretty fun! Met a lot of cool fellow musicians as well.

This is a song I actually wrote for a songwriting competition at the school: we had an hour to write a song and we were giving lyrics from another song: Black Friday from Steely Dan. I actually finished the song pretty easily: took me about 15 minutes but the production was the hard part, took me sometime and a few remakes to get to this version. Enjoy!

Intro/ verse 1:

When Black Friday comes,
I’ll stand down by the door
And catch the grey men
When they swim back to shore

Chorus 1:

I’ll forget everything I’m shown
