It's about being influenced by the punk-rock music you heard when you were sixteen, the first time you felt the bass at a club, and the excitement of growing up alongside the hopes and disco dreams of the future. 
It's about living to see the undreamable magic happen, or to see a broken dream lay at your feet.

The album is a hectic ride launched from astral depths of euphoric sounds into a psychedelic party in your favorite rock band's garage and ending with a mesmerizing repetitive anthem. 

It's a particular moment in time where the future, past, and present become an album.

Niv Ast is an electronic producer and a DJ based in Tel-Aviv.
He’s inspired by the psychedelic waves of acid, the attitude of the Punk-Rock and the light headed groove of Disco.
In the last couple of years he’s been touring constantly around Europe, playing in iconic venues like Opium Club in Vilnius, Le Sucre in Lyon, Silencio & Petit Palace in Paris, ‘Calvi on the Rocks’ festival in Corsica, and The Block in Tel-Aviv, to name a few.
Niv Ast's brand new and very anticipated live show is a solid electronic performance which is based on his originals materials, designated for clubbing peak time hours.
It includes distorted electric Guitars, a percussionist, keyboards, electronic drums (SPDs) and hypnotizing vocals, creating a pounding and intoxicating experience, full of pleasurable hooks and acidic sounds.
His latest releases have seen light on renowned labels around the globe, such as Optimo, Correspondant, Ombra International, SC&P, Hard Fist, Relish, Calypso Records, Blue Shadow and many more. In addition, Niv Ast is the label boss of the imprint ‘New Day Everyday’ alongside Eliezer, which is an embodiment of their idea of dance-floor electronic music to the likes of Indie enthusiasts and disco lovers.

2DIY4 („to die for“, the sublabel of Diynamic Music) is embarking onto a new journey. With this next release 2DIY4 is starting a new chapter in its history, turning away from the classic 4/4 House formula and towards new, outstanding and sincere Indie Downtempo Electronica music.

With a highly artistic approach, it aims to paint a holistic picture that shapes its identity with all inherent components - sonic and visual. The golden thread that runs through it all is the question “what would you die for?” – creatively replied to by the artists.

The first artist under the label’s new identity is Lunar Plane, consisting of identical twin brothers Emre and Mert from Istanbul. They answered: “We would die for each other, so the first thing comes to mind is twinhood.” Together with LA-based October’s Child on the vocals, they deliver the first of many chilling Electronica EPs for 2DIY4.

Johannes Klingebiel - All Around Me (Jay Shepheard Remix) (AF006)

Mexico’s leading underground label Duro Records is back with another brilliant EP, this time from Mijo, who serves up a fine original that comes with remixes by Paulor, D.Y.O.R., The Chica and Moisees.

Mijo is a multi-instrumentalist with a raw sound that mixes up tech, disco, house and analogue synths. He releases on Her Majesty's Ship, Sanfuentes Records and Correspondant and impresses with the refreshing ‘THXTASY’ here. It’s a perfectly warped, heavy tune with fleshy bass and trippy synths that are driven by punchy kicks. A big vocal will get hands in the air and the whole thing oozes late night menace.

Fellow Mexican Paulor from the likes of the Your and Your Hippie Friends label then excellently remixes the track into something brilliantly dark and cosmic. The drums hit hard and there is a real rock angst in the stabs. D.Y.O.R is a soulful, jacking and deep house proponent from the Netherlands who flips the track into something more elastic and house in nature, but with acid lines and chattery, Chicago-esque percussion.

Next The Chica steps up with two terrific versions. The first is a slamming techno cut with whirring machines and flat, forceful drums and the second is a fist pumping, turbo charged old school house version with raves stabs. Both will do real damage on the ‘floor.

Last but not least is Duro co-founder Moisees, the man behind last year’s superb ‘Train Station Philosophy’ release. His vision of ‘THXTASY’ is one of corrugated funk, macho disco grooves and stuff hits that make you jerk your body.

These are dynamite tracks designed for carefully considered denotation of any dance floor.

Daniel van der Zwaags' mysterious remix of Didacte - Saturn's Secret has been hiding patiently for years, waiting to the right time to be released. The 9 minute trip is classic Zwaag, loaded with careful details, precise chords and soaring pads that are cinematic and hopeful one minute but restrained and patient the next.
