Heute heißt es Studiomontag: @AVEMsdream gibt Einblick und Ausblick, allesamt unbekannt und unreleased, live und aus eigener Feder. Technische Finesse trifft audiophiles Storytelling, fragile Elemente auf eindrucksvollen Flächen, vielschichtig und nie einfältig. Die Götter:innen stecken im Detail, heute ganz besonders.

After a little summer break it is about time to reanimate our podcast series and serve you again with some cozy music for your home comforts. With slowly getting into winter mood we’re happy to share with you the perfect soundtrack for snuggling into the most comfy spot on the couch, made by no other than our all-time inspirer Matti aka @mattmosphere, master of chill mixtapes and connaisseur of the unconventional. He presents us an eclectic and soul soothing selection of tunes somewhere between Ambient, Balearic and Vaporwave. Calming genres that combine gentle instrumentation here and there with bird chirping, water dribble, wind noises and fire crackling - music made by lush nature that carries us back to the sunny days. Arising from some beautifully nostalgic reconnections you indeed feel his dedication to the abundance of a lush island, as Matti mentioned the „Schlaraffenland“, the land of milk an honey, a place that allows you to sit back, relax and float. We gladly follow that recommendation and invite you to celebrate slowliness and ease with us on this first day of December, which is also the day Matti was born! Happy birthday to you, dear friend and happy listening to everybody else! <3

Heute rappelt's wieder mal schön in der Kiste. Gewohnt lässig, baumelt der Bass von einem Ohr zum anderen und lässt nebenbei auch den Rest des Körpers nicht zur Ruhe kommen. 

Voll abgespaced und unwillkürlich, zappeln die Extremitäten zum Sound aus den Lautsprechern. Vollgepumpt mit Bass in den Adern und Rhythmus im Blut, kommt die Erinnerung zurück "pump my body, pump my soul, pump my mind and lose control". 

@lasse_lambretta macht's möglich und beliefert uns mit dem, das wir so lieben, mit guter Musik.

We meet with unusual events this year, be it a haze in winter, or more like a late snowfall in spring. We are so happy to host our next mixtape by our dear friend Mattmosphere.

In the past we know Matt for his special sound and way of playing music. Based mainly on ambient and experimental atmospheres. Today he has given us an extraordinary set that represents the sound that is usually directed towards clubs and dancefloors, perhaps as a celebration of having them back after a long wait. Us being big fans of minimal and house, could not feel a better fit.

✍️ „Once upon a time, a wolf visited a city named Wireless Hole. He was a mean and angry wolf not really nice to others. When he encountered a really nice fox who was playing along with his pan flute, the angry and mean wolf saw his chance and grapped the pan flute, threw it on the ground and stepped on it like a mean and angry wolf would typically do. He then gathered his fellow wolves the so called „wolf-gang“ and danced his mean and angry wolf dance. This was a very sad day. For all of us.“
But stop, what are we hearing?
Sheep in the woods, bravely picking up the broken pan flute and forming a clan.
That was not the end, ooh no.“

We all know this moment - you are lying in bed with a loved one and the world stands still.

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect sunday morning sets for quite a while already and @Mattmosphere has been a steady supplier of them for us. So we asked him and his partner Adriana to record one hour of music together, to which they like to stay in bed with.

It's an intimate ask, but they said yes and this beauty of a set is the result. 

Mattmosphere selected half the tracks and adriana aka @amapola-sounds selected the other half and sang her own beautiful lyrics ( see below), their good friend @morgen_musik recorded them and the result is something magical:

WIDE AWAKE *live // Sonnendeck (Фузион 2019)

I finally found time to upload this crazy set with @tobidei and @etcha-1, recorded at BDT Festival 2019:

Our stage - Boah Insel - was a solar-powered raft with a wooden sun deck, a little sound system, a sekt-only bar, pink and glittery looks, and a beautiful crew. It was a free floating utopia bathed in sunlight, champagne, and relaxation. Surrounded only by the waters of Helenesee, it gave ravers a reason to slow down, undress, swim over, and join the naive nudists for a trip into sunny, psychedelic bliss. Apart from endless DJ-sets, a spontaneous water ballet performance and a yogic rectal breathing workshop, the island also witnessed a wedding, which was conducted by the captain in accordance with maritime law and is said to have lasted to this day (if the two brides read this, please write!). Throughout the festival we were delighted to witness respectful, unsexualized nudity with people feeling comfortable and safe in their naked bodies.

Then this happened:

On the final day, a monumental thunderstorm - coming out of nowhere - engulfed the festival, pounded the lake with sheets of rain and ripped our barge off its anchor. As heavy winds were pushing us into the open water, a double-rainbow appeared in the sky, creating a giant embrace around us and our island.

When we were finally being towed back ashore by the local lifeguards under the setting sun, the remaining festival crowd greeted us with deafening applause and tears of joy.

So please enjoy the music and join us in thanking the universe for giving us that moment!

@Mattmosphere and Love Foundation that is a love affair that has been going on for a while. It all started with a romantic weekend in Vienna beginning 2018, sparks were flying and a second weekend getaway was planned together. This time outside and in the slightly smaller mountains of the Netherlands, in Limburg.

After that it was clear that both parties are ready for the next step and a fusion of the @drosssel and Love Foundation family with a 48 hour rave weekend in Mensch Meier in Berlin, was the logical conclusion in summer 2019.

Now we are limited to online dating, but Matt knows how to play that game as well and the set that he recorded for us, hits us right in the heart. Be ready for an hour full of emotions and a special kind of journey that only Matt knows how to take you on. 

We love you Matt and we look already forward to the next gathering in real life together.
