Matija & Richard Elcox Downtempo Releases 2025

In mysterious ways, paths from the past sometimes cross once again, leading to wonderful outcomes. Such is the case here, as we are thrilled to welcome our longtime companion, Maxi aka @kerosino, to our label for his upcoming EP.

His dark, midtempo-leaning sound perfectly suits the gloomy season and had us convinced from the very first listen. The two original tracks are complemented by equally compelling remixes from @air_horse_one, @richardelcox, and @matijasound.

We're delighted that this release has come to fruition and hope you enjoy it thoroughly. As always, the artwork has been contributed by our graphic wizard, Kilian Van de Water.

We are very happy to share our 5th EP, this time by german rising talented producer, Abacilar. Sharing his deeptech sounds through 3 original tracks alongside 4 incredible remixes. Each with its own style, sound and story.

Futuristic Regressions is a constant reminder that sometimes, you gotta go one step behind, have a small regression in order to look into the future.

It's that time again—early September marks the launch of our next compilation! We can hardly believe it ourselves, but it's already down.tape °9.

As always, we've worked hard to bring you a mix of emerging new artists alongside some seasoned veterans who have yet to be featured on our compilations. The soundscape spans from fresh, summery open-air vibes to driving beats perfect for the night, once again showcasing the incredible diversity of our favorite genre.

This fine-tuned balance between emotion and power is the reason why we love thea´s songs so much. We are very happy to release her first original on Easy Tiger. 

Jonas Fasching knows exactly what he´s doing when he works in the studio. His motive is variety. His songs always surprise with unusual sounds and changes in harmonies. Jonas Fasching´s remix of thea´s original is definitely an interesting and artistic piece of music.

For our 42nd release, Bucharest-born and Basel-based artist Don Son presents a stellar five-track EP. This diverse offering includes two original tracks, a rework, and two remixes, each showcasing a unique vibe and exceptional production. Drawing inspiration from a variety of musical styles— ranging from hip-hop and jazz to 90s influences—Don Son continues to refine his fusion of genres with remarkable creativity.

The EP opens with "Pas Vonda", a mellow yet captivating track featuring intuitive melodies and a subtle touch of 80s nostalgia. Its remix transforms the original into a deep, bass-heavy groove— bold and unapologetically infectious. 

"Voices In My Head" stands out as a richly textured
collaboration driven by a massive bassline, while Burika’s remix injects a playful, melodic energy designed for the dancefloor. Closing the EP, "Love Taxi" takes listeners on a soulful journey— emotional, sultry, and evocative of an intimate highway cruise with a story to tell.

Third Rail (Remixes) reimagines the original EP with five tracks, ranging from laid-back downtempo to steady mid-tempo grooves. Whether you’re familiar with the original compositions or hearing them for the first time, you can still feel the original warmth created by Colour Your Mind’s use of acoustic instruments.

The remix of "To My Story" by Matija & Rich turns the atmospherical original mix into a pulsing dancefloor banger.
