Catherine Grace is a singer, songwriter and saxophone player, hailing from the Central Coast NSW Australia. Her unique style is a fusion between smooth jazz and blues with a sprinkling of pop. With her smooth and sultry vocal style, she finds inspiration in singers such as Norah Jones, Diana Krall and Lana Del Rey. As for her saxophone playing she can’t go past her biggest idols, Candy Dulfer and Stan Getz. 

Catherine is a very experienced performer, having played many gigs including private functions, weddings, residencies in cafes and restaurants, the post-show supper club performances following Elton John, Crowded House, Santana, Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Neil Diamond and Bruce Springsteen.



She has a new EP 'Marshmallow Man' which is now available for purchase on iTunes.

Began writing and recording in 1995 and have run a successful recording studio since 1998. Currently, I'm focusing on mixing. Moving image and photos are a great influence during the mixing stage. I prefer this over audible references, as this usually distracts one from the true feeling and story behind a song. Unique is best.

The Australian songwriter Josh Downing is the driving force behind Downwrite Music. He is currently based in the UK where he is writing and recording with a number of artists. Since 2003 he has been crafting his songwriting skills with bands such as Emerson and Little Hill and has worked with music producers from across Australia including Caleb James.(www.calebjames.com) He cut his teeth in the Brisbane music scene as a songwriter/guitarist before packing his guitars and heading overseas. In 2010 he made the move to the UK where he is writing new material and searching for artists and publishers to represent his songs. His unique style of writing has been described as "solid and melodic"(www.smashedrecords.com) and has an amazing ability to capture emotion. His sound draws on influences from old time heroes such as Jackson Browne and James Taylor and blends with contemporary writers like Monty Powell and Josh Kear.
