The content of this recording, REFLECTIONS, mirrors my life and musical experiences. Sacred songs, spirituals, gospel, soul, jazz and hip hop are genres that have consistently been of interest to me. To partner music with one of the greatest orators of our time is an honor, but it also with great responsibility. I seek to enhance the message with the music and not the music with the message. This classic tune, "Christmas Time is Here," is a collaboration between, vocalist Blair Rosario and producer, multi-instrumentalist Dante' Pope. Her sultry sound and his smooth vibrato make for a duet you don't want to miss.

Dante’ Pope is a soul drummer-vocalist and a native of Chicago, Illinois. He blends his gospel roots with a soulful swing that has been showcased all around the world. This year he released his debut soul project, 'After Five Music,'  and collaborated on a GRAMMY nominated album called, 'Black Cowboys,' a collaborative project with GRAMMY Award-winning artist , Dom Flemons and Smithsonian Folkways. His passion for arts in education has connected him with The Musicianship and the DC Arts and Humanities Council’s grant programs. He creates learning experiences with world class talent for 100 4th-5th graders once a month for The Musicianhsip’s Master Class Series. To date he has assisted in servicing over 1000 students in the DC area.

Dante’ Pope is a music man, full of many surprises. Drummer, vocalist, educator, clinician and so much more. He has no limits. Open to all genres and a student to many styles, his production is a direct reflection of his many influences.
