With his album „Obi Thine Xi“ due in late summer 2021, Rico Puestel delivers an early and tasteful tempting with the pre-single „LAPS“ joined by three absolutely sharp remixes on 180 grams heavyweight and plain white vinyl, figuratively representing the untouched canvas.

With the aspiration of creating a diverse spectrum of prime Techno music currents, the original album track „LAPS“, a well-proven yet augmented Puestel'ish stomper of 10 Minutes that prompts reminiscences to his latest EPs on Cocoon Recordings, is given further touches by scene freshman „BOWMN“ from the UK, the indubitable Dutch legend „Secret Cinema“ and the unique German sound aesthete, overall creative mind, painter and winemaker „Florian Hollerith“ from the beautiful Palatinate.

Following the pre-album presentation of „LAPS“, BOWMN dives into the realms of pure melodic Techno bliss with a genuine nostalgic yet onward feeling which experiences a sophisticated definition throughout his massive interpretation. If there's one way to know if you're in the good old days before you've actually left them – this is it!

On the flip-side, the one, the only and the legendary Secret Cinema constructs a well-driven and tight top class production work with his groovy expanded remix work of LAPS that might come along as some track that gives you some kind of timeless attitude.

Closing the „LAPS“ journey, Florian Hollerith serves up a highly elaborated next level remix that already defines a future of Techno music that might hasn't come yet while perfectly balancing  unearthed highs with some deeply grounded depths of electronic music creation.

An overall highly harmonious and keen record that will bring you through early and mid summer 2021 until the forthcoming album „Obi Thine Xi“ sees the light of day...

Unexpectedly intense and joyful festival activities made us move this summer release to the end of the season. But it’s never too late for great music, which on top can finally be played in clubs again. For our mini-jubilee release No. 40, the super-talented DARIO with first release experiences on labels like Avotre, Nervous Rec. and Moonbootique, teams up with Berlin-Munich-based duo AREL & SCHAEFER who put their mark on Deepalma, Milk & Sugar or Bar25 Music. Together this combo delivers a delicious and floor-proofed EP. Accomplished with a remix by Hungarian DJ & producer DANIEL MEISTER, this EP comes with fresh and brilliant grooves.



„Our Space“ has been road-tested over the summer in many festivals and we can promise: „Damn yessss, this rocks“. The chord in the manner of classic house music comes on a crisp and tight rhythm, which works already as a ‚standalone‘. So it’s an easy job for the hook to screw and wind into the crowds mind, for calling this track a proper peak time tool with an extra portion fun. Daniel Meister takes it on for a remix and strikes as usual with his high quality sound - warm and clear! He splits the main part to reduced cuts and doesn’t lose any of the spirit from the original by keeping it much more minimalistic. Impressing!





The second original „Sacred Ground“ follows up on tight grooves and convinces by an excellent deepness, which is always high enough for breathing cooled-down summer air with a relaxed happiness. Let’s have a dance!

We are happy to welcome yet another new face to our ever growing artist roster, though Rico Puestel is definitely not an unknown name for fans of electronic music! Rico is - amongst many other things - a trained pianist, a self-trained guitarist, a drummer, a musicologist, a Zappa enthusiast, a struggler, a neurotic, a martyr of art and, most-notably: A genuine, perpetually driven music producer! Gregor has been a fan of Rico´s music for years, and - being blown off his socks by his recently released full length album Obi Thine Xi - had to ask Rico for some original music to be released on Break New Soil. Et voila: „Afar“ landed in our mailbox like a beacon of light in these dark times for club culture! On top of the three outstanding original tracks, we couldn´t be happier to have Alexander Kowalski working his magic on „Axioms". Once again, Alexander delivered an example to underline his status of being one of the most in-demand producers in the realm of modern electronic music! To round things off we are stoked to present a full-on peaktime rework of „Afar“ by the duo of the moment that is Joyhauser! We believe we have quite the package for you to enjoy!

Poker Flat Recordings drops three new heaters from Reset Robot - the alter ego of UK producer, engineer and DJ Dave Robertson. 
The Portsmouth-based artist has thrilled some of the world's biggest clubs, and released on the hugely influential Drumcode, Mobilee, Hotflush and his own Whistleblower Records.

His new EP Tired Voice dials into his signature brooding sound, but also finds some new unexplored nuances.  

“The title track was written after I got my Moog Matriarch. The main synth line and bass were both done on that and I love how they sound.  It can be quite inspiring when you get your hands on a fresh piece of kit in the studio”, says Dave.  

Elsewhere, Jinx was inspired by explorations on a Novation controller, hooking it up to Reason to produce a deep bomb that bubbles and boils with energy. Meig is an atmospheric burner with a strong emotional undercurrent, built around the SEM VST from Arturia.

Mario Dželajlija, rođen 1990., dolazi iz Novske. Krajem davne 2004. godine prvi put odlazi na party i zaljubljuje se u elektronski zvuk i žestoke ritmove techna, 2006. godine kupuje svoj prvi kontroler i počinje učit se mixat, krajem 2007. godine događa se njegov prvi nastup pred publikom pod pseudonimom "Prototype" nakon čega nastupa po raznim klubovima, festivalima te privatnim partyima, svoju glazbenu priču je gradio kroz tech house, minimal, techno, trance i d&b pa sve kroz progresive, melodic, ethereal techno s kojima ulazi u Aquarius klub 30.4.2016. Nakon čega se počinje vraćat svojim korijenima pod utjecajem D&D ekipe i njihovih deep-minimal partya. 2017. kupuje svoje prve syntheve i rhytam mašine, okreće novu stranicu i započinje novi projekt. Rađa se Dr.Jackyll koji svoju uvrnutu osobnost prenosi u muziku koja se zasniva na deeptech, dub minimal-house zvuku koji je ispunjen kotrljajućim bass lineovima i pikajućim perkusijama. Kako radi na "svom" zvuku tako i selekcija njegovih traka za dj set prati istu priču, duboku a veselu.
