The first song I composed for my Mother 25th Anniversary project. I had to reupload this because I wasn't happy at all with the instruments in the older version. The new ones are much more balanced and sound closer to real instruments.

A bit cliche, I know, but I couldn't resist remixing this tune for my Mother 25th Anniversary Project. And this is the Mother version, not the Earthbound version! There wasn't a lot I could do here except add in a guitar part and lower the baseline an octave or two. Nevertheless, I was surprised at how much room for improvement there was.

Known by fans as "Battle Against a Flippant Foe", this was always one of my favorite songs from Earthbound Zero. This jazzy tune for my Mother 25th Anniversary project added a few measures and a countermelody to embellish the song a bit. It's odd how the original composers never took the opportunity to add stuff like this. It's not like the space limitations were THAT small...

It's odd how the fourth song I composed for my Mother 25th Anniversary Project was actually the first song that played in the game. Really, there wasn't a lot I could do here beyond changing a few instruments and adding a few effects. But that's OK, because the song's simplicity is what made it so memorable.

CHVRCHES - The Mother We Share (8-BIT Remix)

I took inspiration from the unused version of this song in the Game Gear version of Sonic 1 and gave the song a more energetic beat. I personally prefer the Game Gear version of Marble Zone's BGM to the Genesis version.

The instruments i used are also straight from the Flying Battery Act 1 cover i did a while back, so that's a thing, i guess.

Soundtrack for an unreleased Game Boy Color game, composed in the year 2000. It was one of my latests soundtracks for Game Boy Color. Unfortunately the game was never published, though it was one of the most amazing racing games ever made for the console!

I've had this thing finished for several months but never bothered to upload it, so I thought it'd be neat to have it up for christmas so yea, cool.

This is mostly just me using the Shovel Knight instruments to create an arrangement, I took most of my inspiration from The Betrayer obviously tho the intro uses some instruments from Flowers Of Antimony, but yeah a lot of it is just me dicking around till I thought I had something that sounded neat so it's not supposed to be like a perfect 1 to 1 with any specific Shovel Knight track lol.

This is the first full-on remix I've made that doesn't sound horrible. Or I think so, anyway.

Ravio's Theme

In the late nineties I did several soundtracks for the games of Velez & Dubail, published by Infogrames. At first I would also do the sountrack for Wacky Races, but they needed a really fast sound driver, as the game would be some of the most advanced ever for the console (just check it, it's amazing). Unfortunately my driver was too slow for what they needed, and writing a new and faster one was far out of schedule and budget.

The tracks you hear are the first test, just to check if the game could deal with the sound driver CPU consumption. The tunes only use 2 channels (+ noise), as one entire channel had to be reserved for the sound of the car engine. They use many stereo effects, so be sure to put your headphones on.

In the end the job went to Manfred Linzner who did a wonderful work.

Symphony No. 5, Beethoven - Mega Man Style [0CC FamiTracker]

My first commercial tune for the Game Boy, released in the US as Cool Ball.

The game was only 32k in size (just like Bomb Jack) but very entertaining. It only had this tune and a small jingle for the game over. I was doing the mandatory military service and composed this tune in a weekend off.

I remember how amazed I was about the new possibilities of the Game Boy sound (specially the noise channel and the pseudo stereo), compared to the 8 bit computers I used until then!
