Rome based Vicky Merlino is born on February 18th, 1969, the first track he mixed for fun in 97 was called 'Peace Frog from Doors', Dj and producer with many musical projects. He plays usually in Italy, Spain, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Thailand, and other countries. He played @ FULL MOON PARTY in Koh Phangan, KIT KAT EVENTS, NAKED-FESTIVAL, SONORA, WASTELAND, TRIBAL GATHERING -PANAMA, and many more important events. he plays usually in Europe. In 2010 start a project called Duologic. Aran-Project' and 'VM18' is another music project of Vicky Merlino, of progressive - psytrance and ambient lounge and downtempo. In 2015 started a BIG project called ALIEN VISITORS

The EP offers up remixes by Jossie Telch, Youth, Tripswitch, Gabriel Le Mar and is the first single from his forthcoming release on Dragonfly called ‘Past Present, Future Tense’, it even has a little injection of production and mastering from Neil McLellan (producer of The Prodigy).

Dragonfly Records emerges from the cocoon and spreads its wings to fly again.
After a 15 years hibernation since the last release, finally the much anticipated re-launch has arrived and with it comes an exciting new installment of the seminal Order Odonata compilation series.  Next up is a full artist album from label head YOUTH, coming spring 2020.

Dragonfly Records was founded by Martin 'Youth' Glover in 1993 and was based at his Butterfly Studios in Brixton, London and was a seminal label in the Electronic trance music lineage and arguably the first UK / European Goa Trance label.

In early days pretty much all the main trance producers were working out of Butterly/Dragonfly. TIP, Flying Rhino, Total Eclipse and Hallucinogen, (Simon Posford and Ott were part of Butterfly’s in house engineer/production team). Early releases also included Goa produced music like Mandragora and Space Tribe. 

At the same time Butterfly was hosting The Orb, Laurent Garnier and The Drum club and many other artists were rubbing shoulders with our own artists, producers and engineers, as well as putting on multi-media parties and events.

Art exhibitions with Jimmy Cauty (KLF), theatrical productions, talks in the garden with such psychedelic luminaries as Terrance McKenna, Fraser Clarke, Brian Barritt and Lee Harris as well as some legendary huge outdoor raves, all of which combined to create an Arts Lab and a creative utopian hub unlike anything London has seen since the early days of Punk or even the late 60’s Summer Of Love.   

Today all of this legacy has magically alchemised into “Space Mountain” the state of the art studio built by Youth in Andalusia, Spain at the end of the 90’s and which now hosts The Space Mountain International Cosmic Arts Lab festival.
