I've been a DJ since 1991, but I started composing and producing music back in 2005, using Logic Pro and MIDI devices. Over the years, I’ve mixed a wide range of genres - from funk, soul & Motown; to jungle, drum’n bass & breaks; to minimal-tech, trance & deep house. 

These days, I mainly enjoy mixing deep beats and some of my favourite record labels include: Get Physical Music, Canopy Sounds, Strictly Rhythm, Shanty Radio Moscow, Systematic Colours and Permanent Vacation.

After an exhausting, but exhilarating journey,  exceeding 800 million light years through dark matter,  cold matter, hot matter, anti matter and  matter,  the crew of the fusion propelled time module landed on Planet Earth,  morphed their external atomic structure into human form,  bought some musical instruments and some recording gear,  learnt to play and write songs, auditioned for 110 reality TV music programs,  got themselves a publicity agent,  a newsagent, an estate agent and a secret agent,  bought a big blue, purple and black transit van with tinted windows, a logo on the side panel, luminous orange wheels and twin turbo charged rocket booster engines and went on a tour of black holes, performing in several parallel universes simultaneously. 

Unfortunately,  the tour ended 2000 years before it began, due to a  catastrophic failure in a random thought generator, causing phantom,  non-linear,  space-time co-ordinates to be processed in the automated data bypass system, located underneath the reverse sleeping proton eliminator device.  The band, with no electricity to power their PA system, no fuel for their cyber bus, no webspace for their 5 million friends and with no award ceremonies to attend, folded, never to be heard of or seen again....... or so it seemed!

Thanks for visiting. This is a retro eclectic music mix with looming influences from among others Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Lou Reed & Jon Lord. Mostly I write about the human condition.

I am always looking for a guitar player that wants to collaborate. Would be fun to find a real drummer also.

On Earth One, all of the music and lyrics are written by Dragonsail, aka Greg Hester. Likewise, all of the playing and vocal performances and recording and mixing are done by Dragonsail as well. But that's not as interesting as what's happening on Earth Two.

On Earth Two, these songs are created and performed by a scheming diva named Surrenda and her enthusiastic but clueless dog sidekick Bruce. Additional songwriting is provided by their septuagenarian feline keyboardist, Catatonia, and Onree - the sweet pup with the mean shaker. There's also some old geezers in the band who've been with Surrenda for a couple of decades who actually play real instruments, but they mostly loom in the shadows.

The range of styles in their music includes funk, psychedelia, hard rock, prog rock and disco, which they tear away at with whatever instruments and found objects they have stowed away with them aboard their ship, the Club Dragonsail.

Gaz Brownie music projects is a collection of collaborative work from more recent projects to the bands I have played in over the years.
Been singing since the age of 15 in bands and various music projects.
I play guitar on my solo stuff but really only as a vehicle to write songs and finds cords for vocal melodies, and also a little keyboards. 
To date I have recorded and wrote/ co wrote over 200 songs in a professional studio environment, working with established producers . Played endless live gigs with numerous bands and projects.
I have had music published, appeared on TV/radio, Music videos, released albums, Eps and singles, on several different labels. 
Style preference is a indie pop/rock vibe focusing on interesting lyrics, vocal melodies and catchy chorus lines.
