Chaocity is a punky rock track depicting the current state of disorder in the world in an anthem of caricatured discourse and was recorded in Beijing during the darkest hours of lockdowns in late 2022 .  

A huge shoutout goes to the lads from Back Seat Bingo for showing up at a clutch hour and putting the gang vocals on the record where they belong.  Thanks guys!!!

Chaocity

River of Shade features Justin Howell on vocals as well as acoustic and jazz guitar.  Dan (Dragonyst) did all the production and recording work, co-wrote it including the lyrics, and added the guitar solo and other instrumental elements.

The song is a spiritual soul journey out of chaos (as portrayed in Chaocity, another track in this collection) on a literal and metaphorical river into the unknown.

River Of Shade (featuring Justin Howell)

Heat of the Flight is a song about escaping from Chaos (its the third in the sequence of tracks:  Chaocity ->  River of Shade ->  Heat of the Flight) and arriving on the actual limits of the unknown as a river delta spills into a jungle (both literally and metaphorically).  It has the feel of a more modern twist on a CCR track, with a touch of Miami Vice (there's a whole lot of Vocoders on the chorus).  It makes for balmy listen any time.

Heat Of The Flight

Gypsy Fantasia is a folkish rock track infused with Spanish flamenco spirit and influence.  It tells the story of mystical love at first sight between a gypsy and a wandering troubadour in the mountains of the Pyrenees and takes you on a trip through Iberia via heart and song.
