I heard this beat in a video by the legendary freestyle rapper Harry Mack on YouTube, and Mack basically made a song about the grieving process in specific relation to a stranger he just met on Omegle's backstory. If you haven't seen the video, I highly recommend it.

Anyways, the beat was not only so perfect for that moment, but it felt like exactly how I have been feeling lately. The beat just HIT me like that. Upon finding the beat on YouTube, suddenly truthful and honest and necessary lyrics just came flooding to me and I couldn't turn it off. So I realized that I needed to just do it...make a song and video for this just to get it off my chest, and just so people can see a little of where I'm at right now. Now is just the beginning of a lifelong journey for me.

AUGUST 2025 DJ SET

This year has been really insane for me. It started with the most I've ever felt like myself since I can remember, followed by what felt like an eternally longer period of feeling the least like myself that I've ever felt. I've never felt so disconnected from myself, my community, my surroundings, nature, and the universe. 

This EP's concept was thought up following my previous EP, 'no one is alone'. 'VISION' is the second installment of a trilogy I am creating, and I intend for the last installment to be called 'rebirth'. This trilogy is about what it's like to be insanely depressed with crippling anxiety (for me), the tools and steps and thought process required to get out of that state, and then finally what it is like to be reborn as one who has a healthier relationship with all emotions. 

It was very hard to create art at a time like this in my life, but I knew that I must do it, I must follow my vision. I have a bigger purpose on this world, and the most important part of this EP is that it will serve as a reminder to me for my purpose, and reminders are integrated into the lyrics. It took me a lot of energy and quite literally risk of sanity to make this and get it out in 2020 while being satisfied with the outcome. But I truthfully am extremely satisfied and proud of my growth from my last project to this one, and I'm going to keep doing my best in all future endeavours. Any love is welcome and appreciated, I will now take more time to restore some sanity, and until we meet again, thank you for being here.
