In the first Episode of “Making Love” Eva and John begin in the middle.  They explore the uncertainty of knowing where to start as an integral part of the process of Making Love. They also discuss what it means to be present with each other, staying open to the mystery, and allowing themselves to be guided.  They share a bit about the location of their bodies in time and space:  Czech Republic, at the end of Venus Retrograde.  Eva shares a significant dream of an owl which leads them to a conversation about the wild ancestral journey and what it means to be in Eva's homeland during these unusual times.

In this episode, John and Eva reflect on the challenge and importance of taking responsibility for our own pain and discomfort while being in a relationship.

The episode begins with Eva sharing a personal and raw moment that unfolded after returning from an ancestral workshop in her homeland, the Czech Republic.  What started with a beautiful connection to her Slavic roots turned into an overwhelming wave of ancient pain that consumed her body and heart.  The pain was bigger and older than anything she knows herself to be.  

Eva speaks with John about the physicality of this “pain body” and they touch on how easy it is in a relationship to want to rescue each other in difficult personal moments.  John shares his personal challenges with a savior complex, and the courage it takes to stay rooted while holding space. 

This is a touching conversation about reclaiming power, seeing old patterns clearly, and practicing the ancient art of living with pain — an art that makes space for both self and others.
