We're delighted to present @Eversines new album on ninih. "Dwang" brings together his most personal work thus far, this record being Remco's outlet to process and make sense of difficult experiences. Unsurprisingly, this results in an exploration into a darker, trancier side of his musical spectrum. 

The two of us having developed a deep bond over the years is clearly reflected in how this album came together. It's the third collaboration between the two of us, of which many more to come! ❤️

The third update to the Dream Software servers has arrived in the form of a 4-track sonic offering by Perth-based duo; 'Beltrac & Urban Guidance' ( @beltrac & @urban-guidance ). The organically-grown, audible relic; entitled 'Panspermia' can be found in the database under 'DSOFT003'. Exploring soothing chill-out and downtempo, immersed in tasteful and infectious acid lines and crisp, intricately arranged drum patterns. A nature-infused expedition of euphoria and positivity.

Float through clouds and drift over calming seas, let your mind dissipate and evaporate into nothingness. Feel the warmth and benevolence as you become one with your surroundings. Close your eyes and surrender to the embrace of nature. Your own utopia awaits you.

Written and produced by Alex Silvi (Alien Signal) throughout the years of 1993-1994. ‘North Polar Stars’, ‘Brilliant Evening Planets’ and ‘Violent Volcanoes of Io’ originally released on album ‘Celestial Sights of the Future’ from Upland Recordings in 1993. ‘Quantum Limit’ was originally released on album ‘The Search Begins’ also on Upland Recordings in 1993, whereas ‘Atomic (Esoteric Mix)’ was a self-release from 1994.
These tracks are responsible for a huge impression on Dream Software and the sound of the label, so it is with great honour we reissue these tracks and release them back into the outersphere. The soundtrack to a retrofuturist world gleaming with optimism. A world where humanity, technology and nature exist in a peaceful symbiosis. A real utopia. We thank you Alex for your inspirational music.

The third release on Small Steps comes from a German DJ and producer, DJ Balduin. “Everything” is a three-track EP that captures the fleeting moment of the light meeting the dark.

The dusky “Andever” sets the tone with the atmosphere of a starting journey, an endeavor that is both forward-looking and nostalgic.

“Somar” glides after, transmitting the cinematic vision of dreamland life that settles for the night to the intimate dance of ethereal voices. While “You” invites on a lush sonic walk along its warm bassline, straight into the dawn, shimmering with euphoria.

“Everything” is a melodic tapestry oscillating between real and imaginary, on the edges of the day and night, losing itself in the shadow of melancholia to be found again under the ray of hope.

Long time friends Big City Bill and Neil E meet for a split EP of groovy driving house dubs on Naarm’s Spincycle Records. The BBV is laid out with kicking drums and lightly tapping percussions. A washed out pad drifts in and out sprinkling magic over listeners while an organ like bassline propels. It’s a slightly cheeky groove that makes you want to kick off your shoes and watch the sun go down with your friends. The programming is catchy and yet still kind of sneaks up, unfolding as the snappy hats and clap are revealed. Neil E’s contribution to Spincycle fits well next to their first release, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was also found in the record bags of discerning tech or progressive selectors.

On the flipside is Big City Bill’s, ‘Dry Rub’ a wiggly fun number that is bound to keep summer dancefloors bounding.
