Sound Transitions is proud to present an EP from Selfhood. The EP, titled Stay Calm, is four tracks of sumptuous electro - two originals backed with two remixes by J-Wax and Bailey Ibbs. The four tracks that make up the EP are bright, sunny, fun, and full of movement. This is hands-in-the-air dance music; perfect for the warmer months and picturesque sunsets. Though the EP is only two tracks and two remixes, there is a great deal of variety throughout while still keeping a similar propulsive, uplifting feeling going in each tune. Pour apporter notre soutien à la lutte nous avons proposé aux artistes DÔME de composer des tracks à partir de discours et chants de manif.
En 5 jours ont été produit ces 5 titres reprenant ce que nous entendons et crions toutes les semaines dans la rue dans une version dance, d’où le nom « Manif Hits ».

S.R donne des envies de révolte avec « Metro, Boulot, Caveau », Jonfaustus nous livre une version electroclash terriblement efficace de « Les jeunes dans la galère, les vieux dans la misère… », René Danger et les élèves des Beaux Arts du Mans aux choeurs s’unissent façon Steve Reich / clapping, Swing Loww souligne l’absence d’empathie des dirigeant.e.s, et Blutch reprend « à cause de Macron » du collectif féministe les Rosies façon disco/house.

Suite au départ de notre doux raver Matthieu nous avons hésité à sortir cette compilation, mais il y a urgence et on est certain.e.s que ces super edits auraient beaucoup amusé Matthieu.

Les bénéfices sont reversés aux caisses de grève, au delà de l’aide financière, l’objectif de cette compilation est surtout de maintenir la flamme, remotiver les troupes et soutenir la mobilisation!

Gneiss is a French electronic music producer. He draws his inspiration from the sensibility of ambient music and the creativity of the international electronic scene. Constantly on the move, he crosses genres and shapes a rich and singular musical universe at the crossroads of breakbeat, progressive house and trance...
From an early age, he had the chance to enrich his ears with world music, classical music and experiment with rhythms and melodies on various instruments (drums, piano, bass). It wasn't until he came of age that he discovered synthesizers and production, to which he devotes much of his free time.
Having settled in Brest a few years ago, he discovered a powerful buzz around electronic music in the west of Brittany. This gradually enabled him to confirm himself and start performing in public, in DJ sets and live with his machines, in venues such as Cabaret Vauban and La Suite.
